We lost our dear dad three weeks ago. We contacted Jessops from the start they were caring and compassionate, treating our dad as if he was one of their own. Irene Jessops came to our home and we knew that Dad was in good hands. Irene listened to every small detail taking special care to make sure dad?s funeral was perfect from start to finish. When we visited the chapel of rest her staff were polite and friendly. The day arrived and Irene and her team escorted our dad on his final journey. We couldn?t have asked for more we will always be grateful. Thank you.

I would like to thank Irene and her amazing team for the care , support and compassion towards me and my family. I lost my beloved sister at a young age, whilst in Irene's care my sister was looked after with respect and dignity. Irene came to see my family she put us all at ease, explained everything thoroughly. The day of the funeral came, all I can say is my sister got the send off she deserved. Irene and her team couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend.

Fabulas team they went the extra mile especially Rob
We needed the funeral to be sooner as family needed to go back home to America
Rob sorted it and he even got a football emblem on his casket

My dad passed away just before Christmas it wasn?t an easy time. We picked Irene Jessop as it was local And had a good reputation . I can?t fault them at all they treated my dad with respect and dignity throughout the whole process . Les went above and beyond and I will be forever greatful for the little details he did ment a lot . Thank you so much he is a credit to yourselves . Great company highly recommended

I wouldn't use anyone else Irene was amazing with mum and now she is looking after dad sadly 9 month after losing my mum . Compassion and caring beyond words . ??

We contacted Irene Jessop Funeral Service when my mam passed. From start to finish we couldn't fault the service we received. Such a caring & supportive group of people. We never felt anything was a bother when we contacted them. They kept in touch with us along the way so that we were always kept up to date with what was happening. 10/10 5* service!!!

A friend told me about Irene Jessop, and they told me a story from when a family member passed away. They got 2 funeral directors round. The first was Irene Jessops, the second I won't name, but they're based in Thornaby. When the second one came out and found out that it was Irene Jessop, they refused to price and said we can't compete with their prices.
So when my sister passed away before Christmas I knew who we would be using. It wasn't just down to price they have a very good reputation for showing empathy at a difficult time. We experienced that first hand during a very difficult time. If anyone is looking for a funeral director I would recommend Irene Jessop s everytime.

I have recently lost my son liam and i am so pleaaed i choae this company to sort his funeral.. . A massive thankyou to les he was superb and helped us enormously throughout. Nothing was too much. Irene the owner was so caring she made me feel like she was part of the fanily she showed a lot of care towards us ... would definetly recommend this company .

Terrible fake lady, went to visit my Dad, only there was no one in the reception as I walked in . I was met by this woman I now know was irene Jessop shouting and swearing at someone clearly who worked with her. she was in the office obviously oblivious of my walking in. So sorry we chose this company. Terrible decision unfortunately. Save your loved one at the hands of this woman. Avoid avoid terrible communication too.

FANTASTIC SERVICE. From start to finish the service that they give is first class. I do not believe the last review at all as we dealt with Irene Jessop and her caring & compassion towards us was second to none. Our mums funeral yesterday was absolutely beautiful and she had the best send off you could ever wish for. A Massive thank you to all the staff.
