Always come back to DFS for my sofas. The quality of the furniture is of high standard, the staff are friendly and approachable, the technician who came out was very professional. Customer service helpline is also good

DO NOT purchase your sofa in store and give the salesman their commission. Take a look around and go home and order online or over the phone. We were told 6-8 weeks delivery at which we would have been in our new home by then. 5 days after we ordered they were ringing to arrange delivery. In the mean time our sellers pulled out of our house sale which meant we obviously couldn?t move in the new home. The sofa will not fit in our current front room with the chair and they will not give us a refund. If we knew delivery was going to be 5 days we would have waited until being in the new property which is now not happening and we would never have been in this situation. Just what we don?t need, would not recommend

Staff very helpful to spend your money but any other problems they not bothered once they got your sale. Not acceptable to say you can't revise your order once placed but you have to wait up to 11 weeks before its sent from the manufacturer.

I've visit DFS On 4th December the cafes are amazing and the environment are absolutely nice and all are stuff are kind there, Highly recommend this cafe.

I gave them two stars because sales experience and delivery was good, it?s their customer service that is extremely poor, as you can see from the attached photos, the chair was delivered with the leather torn and the sofa?s underneath material was torn as well, after submitting 3 requests, I finally received a message stating : Your parts order is with our supplier. We will call to arrange an appointment to fit (or post if preferred) as soon as the order is in stock? this was 02/08/2023, I called them today and they said it won?t be up till October when they can fix the chair, I am extremely frustrated and I do not intend to buy from this store again.

Really helpful lady. I can't recall her name but she was from the local area (perhaps Thornaby). She was super helpful, gave us all the options that would work for us.

Appalling customer service from DFS the whole of our purchase has been a bad experience. Original order (corner sofa) received 2 months late then arrived damaged. Call to customer services and a repair was scheduled then nothing happened for 3 months once I started chasing this several phone calls later no one ever called back with an update. Had to escalate it further to get a response then eventually offered a replacement sofa which was a great idea .....till that arrived damaged aswell!! So now offered money off which is great but guess what still no one has replied to confirm this! This whole process has taken exactly a year from purchase to now! Unacceptable! Will definitely not be using DFS again. I wouldn't buy a deckchair off them!

Ordered a sofa in October, we had to put a do not deliver before date on so waiting to move into our home so we put 20th January phoned shortly after wanting the sofa still no sign of the sofa and we are 10th of February.Rang customer services several times get same response of every single one of them. Very poor and not helpful at all currently sat on come floor waiting for our sofa. Wouldn?t recommend

No communication whatsoever. We purchased 2 couches September 7th and asked for delivery at the end of November (which is when we were due to move into our new house). We received a text saying our couches will be available at our local store 17th November. Fast forward to now, we have just picked the keys up for our new house. We phoned DFS asking if they can deliver our couches 26th November. The lady on the line said there?s actually been a delay with our order and somebody should?ve been in touch to notify us about it. We asked is there no way she can find out an estimated delivery date as we are about to move in and she said she can?t say. So, we have waited almost 3 months for couches that aren?t completed and are due to move into our new house next weekend. Thanks DFS, I?ll probably be on dining chairs for Xmas now. Great customer service from you ?Update: our couches arrived 24th December. I definitely won?t be ordering through DFS ever again though.

Bought our sofas on 27th December 2022, they just arrived today! (22nd January 2023) Less than a month from ordering to receiving them, the salesperson was great we had no issues. Can't remember his name, he was bald

BE CAREFUL!We got a sofa today, 5 weeks late to start. The fitters came and didn't fix the modules together..... DFS said oh we can't do anything. The store says "we can't do anything".So a sofa technician has to come out to prove that it's not been put together, interesting as a qualified/quantified IEng apparently I don't know if something it fixed and secured!So the next available date is 2 weeks, then the parts need ordered c. 2 weeks then another technician visit c. 2 weeks.... wotcha a 3k Sofa and they don't care.The store have ZERO empathy and no one is ever in charge ?Be careful to the honest hard working people.
