Today my daughters came home after visiting this golf shop feeling incredibly hurt after the profiling done on them by a staff member, he seemed to assume that just because they were teenagers, they had the intent to steal. Asking ?have you paid for those balls?? And then snatching them out of their hands to put behind the counter, after they only tried to go upstairs to look at golf bags. A little while later, the same staff member came upstairs and made a derogatory comment towards them saying ?spending a lot of time thinking up here? especially for a golf bag? in an accusatory and rude manner. One of my daughters had been a member there for many years and I am appalled that this staff member would treat them in such a manner, particularly as they?ve have been here many times before and been nothing but respectful. They are both hurt and embarrassed by this. It is disgraceful that this staff member believes it?s okay to treat teenagers in this way and then get away with it. They will be taking their business elsewhere from now on.

Went in there this morning knowing what I was looking for. The 2 guys in store were absolutely fantastic with me and I came away with way more than I wanted whilst still sticking to my budget. Can't thank them enough, brilliant service.

Poor attitude from one of the golf pros, no bags on range, range balls are awful quality, couldn't hit a SW due to the net overhang on the ground floor section, electronic tees didnt work. This is literally 2 min walk from where I'm living at the moment, but I'll not be returning.

Customer service shocking.Went last Thursday 1st March purchased a golf top the 2 guys were helpful and nice.Went today 6th March changed top and purchase another. The biggish guy dressed all in black was as miserable as sin. Took 7 mins to purchase he was struggling to get to grips with computer never apologised even through we were stood waiting suddenly walked away ?never spoke got another guy quite slim didn?t say much but least he spoke.Honestly American Holf gets me customer service skills training organised as it?s desperate. Be long time before I return.

Came in with £250 voucher chose this American golf as it was closest. Booked for a fitting on a 3 wood and I fancied a new putter. Didn't get the lads name. Biggish lad so unhelpful. Everything was hardwork for him. Gave me mavrik 3 wood n it was basically do u want it or not. Letting me have a goo of it was asking for the world. I'm not very knowledgeable on golf but it was basically yeah that's for u. Sold it 1 month late. Chose a local golf club for /fitting

Went for a driver fitting this morning and i had a nightmare with my swing/striking. This meant i couldnt get fitted for a new driver. Reece (apologies if i spelt your name wrong!) Was incredibly helpful, patient and understanding as i was nervous and terrible! I will be 100% be back to buy my new driver for this store

If your a lady golfer American Golf Teesside do not cater for you. The display of clothing comprised of 3 Skirts and a rack of about 10 tops. Whilst Juniors and men have nearly a full floor.
