I had a very good visit to vision express, the staff are very friendly and got me in for my pre test checks straight away and then I only had a short wait to see the optician who gave me a thorough eye test and explained everything very clearly, would definitely recommend.

This is my first time visiting Vision Express and quite possibly my last!Having worked in optics before I sort of know the protocol for a new customer and what is needed.When I handed over my prescription from another opticians to the guy, I told him I need my pd?s taking (pupil distance) because he was asking for me to pay, yet hadn?t taken what was needed for my new glasses to work in the way they should, however he seemed to think otherwise, I told him they weren?t on my prescription I handed over, any way was adamant I didn?t, I stupidly presumed since I?d left things may have changed? Went to collect my new glasses at the weekend and couldn?t see a thing until I tilted them down my nose? They asked me to take them away for a week to try and when I said I legally can?t drive in them to try them for a week the young girl went to see her manager who agreed they needed to be remade, took my pd?s and heights for the glasses and was very apologetic.. I?m guessing the reason the guy didn?t do this was because it was close to closing time and he wanted a flyer as it was between Christmas and new year? Over £300 on glasses and shoddy service, not sure I?ll be back after this.

Did not feel comfortable as the test was very different to previous eye tests. At no point could I make out the letters yet my vision was not significantly different. I was made to feel I was not trying. Would not recommend your service or purchase my glasses from your store.The admin lady was very different 4*.

Had to have my lens changed and left in 1st pair of glasses. After 3 weeks without communication I drove there to find them sitting on the drawer waiting. I left in my second pair and was PROMISED a call when they were ready. Guess what, no call. I tried phone over 2 days and the phone was never answered. Ever. Again I drove to the shop to find my glasses waiting. After questions the assistant admitted they do not answer the phone. How they continue to operate like this is a mystery. And far from cheap. Almost £300 for 2 sets of lens (in my existing frames).

My glasses came in store and I picked them up. When I tried them on at home I couldn't see through them. Went back to store to be told they (???) had sent distance lenses in the glasses instead of reading lenses. The girl apologised but did not consider the inconvenience to me. One wasted journey to pick up glasses, second journey to take them back and then third journey to pick up the replacement glasses. Not good customer service I feel and response to this survey will determine whether I use Vision Express again.

Good service on selection but very poor on collection. Stood in front of me said 'they look nice' and sent me away. On getting home when placed on level surface they were totally out of alignment.

From making a telephone call to Vision Express in Tesco my experience was first class professional but friendly, when I attended, the Optometrist was excellent, I needed contact lens and glasses, I felt really confident and it was the best test I have had. I then chose some glasses, but I was not pressured to do and Jess who helped me complete my order was lovely and I would definitely recommend.
