This hotel is very basic with no WiFi unless you pay £3.50 per day. It's very clean but looks rundown. Its location is not very good if you would like to walk. The hotel offers a simple experience, focusing on cleanliness despite its aged appearance. Guests should be aware that WiFi is not complimentary and incurs an extra daily charge. Its location might not be the most convenient for everyone, depending on their needs. This hotel could be a suitable choice for budget-conscious travelers prioritizing a clean stay. Overall, it presents a straightforward accommodation option, keeping its services concise and direct.

Good old Travelodge, but noisy with the windows open because of the traffic but overall a good Travelodge, friendly informative staff, very clean but limited parking.

Another great stay at travel lodge Sedgefield. Beds very comfortable and room spotless. Staff are always friendly. My only minor gripe is that I have mobility issues but all double rooms are on the first floor with no lift, so I have to manage. Only family rooms available on ground floor, and there's just the two of us.

Stayed here couple weeks ago for the 2nd time, both stays okay but on both occasions I got the impression there was more homeless people temporarily housed there than paying guests! Lots of strange coming and goings throughout the night with shady characters about drinking/smoking outside. Rooms look tired and in need of upgrade. Left in the morning to the whole hotel stinking of weed. Not planning another visit soon

A typical Travelodge offering what you would expect. Easy access from local road network and a central location for various attractions in the area. A quiet location.

Friendly polite receptionists, clean spacious room, and a comfortable bed, but a little on the tired and spartan side. Definitely needs a little bit of love and upgrading. We also missed out on the to-go breakfasts that we'd pre-ordered with our room as they hadn't been delivered/weren't available in time. Luckily, it's in proximity to the town of Sedgefield, so we weren't left totally stranded for breakfast. Overall above par, and did the job.

Good location. Hotel was fairly basic. TV was pretty small for the room. Bed was comfortable.

Only reason this had 2 stars is because the receptionist was polite and welcoming on arrival. What an awful stay ! Stopped in other travel lodges and they have been fantastic. Supposed to have been accessible bathroom. Sticking handrails on a walls doesn't make a bath accessible! I could not even use it! Not physically able to. Rusty rails stained bath matt, hair in the bath! Dripping tap over the bath was very aggravating. Bathroom was Vulgar!!!! Two single beds stuck together instead of a double is very uncomfortable when your used to sleeping together. There was a ridge in the middle of the beds as the one bed was extreamly soft and the other stupidly firm. Poor husband didn't sleep all night.
We ended up leaving at 04.30 so we could get home so I could wash and my husband could get some sleep!
Very upset ?

Nice enough hotel. Did exactly what it said on the tin
Our room was on the ground floor and the upstairs was quite noisy in the night. You can hear heavy foot steps
