In need of refurbishment but still very comfortable for a two night stay BUT the staff are outstanding and always friendly so will return when in the area again.

Spotless room and bathroom. The town of Sedgefield is walkable, (0.6 miles to several pubs and takeaways) but you need to cross a busy road. However, there's an up-market Indian restaurant across the car park (Le Raaj). Haven't had a chance to try it yet, (it smells wonderful!). They give 20% discount on takeaways. The motel has the usual vending machine for crisps, chocolate and soft drinks, which you can pay for by credit card. In the car park, we noticed a number of street lights weren't working, which is worrying at night, when we need to walk our dog.

It has been a wonderful and satisfying experience. A pleasant hotel with clean room and bathroom and the provision of necessary amenities. A nice place to stay and highly recommended. the hotel is easily accessible and near the around about junction to various places in the north and south of the country.

Below average hotel, staff are very on helpful unpleasant experience and I was with my family terrible terrible I will never use Travelodge again.. I feel I was robbed and mistreated in many ways which Travelodge needs to look into as a matter of urgency

Firm but comfy bed. So clean we thought they'd just renovated, but was advised they just clean properly. Even wash the walls so it looks like new paint. I'd stay again. Staff made sure we had a room suitable so we didn't have to take suitcases up stairs and made sure we were catered for.

Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Plenty of free parking. A good location for a visit to the Northeast. Would definitely recommend this Travelodge.

After a long day, a warm welcome from Anthony, the receptionist, is truly appreciated. He not only offers friendliness and assisting us in locating essential item. He also pays great attention to security. The room, while not modern, is clean and tidy. Overall, this is a great place to rest for the night.

Nothing wrong with this Travelodge. The room was the usual high standard and the staff very helpful and welcoming. The nearby village is very pretty with good eating places. The main issue with this Travelodge is the position on an A-road roundabout which makes traffic noise more disruptive than a steady motorway hum.

Pleasurable stay, I stay with travelodge a lot and Anthony was one of the nicest and helpful person I have come across. Especially because we arrived so late after a bad journey and he made us feel appreciated and very welcome. I would definitely stay again.

Stop at Sedgefield Travelodge Friday night. it was a nice one clean and tidy. staff were very helpful and friendly. Sharon on reception was very welcoming when we checked in, and thank you to Anthony for getting us a iron and ironing board. nothing was too much trouble.

Decent Travelodge, good price, clean rooms, and really helpful FOH staff. Area seemed ok although didn?t explore but did hear negative feedback regarding food quality in curry restaurant. Stayed for 1 night following wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel, as very close to venue.

Stayed whilst visiting family, had a great stay at Sedgefield checked in by the lovely Sharon who was very welcoming. Room was immaculate and smelled fresh, we needed extra towels for a late night shower as we'd used the ones provided so asked Nicole on the desk and she was more than happy to help and told us if we needed anything else just to pop down and see her. We wanted to go for breakfast the next morning so asked Ruth the morning receptionist for any recommendations and she gave us loads of options to choose from up in the village close by. Overall a lovely welcoming stay with friendly staff and a nice clean room
