The new self service system is awful .....never seen so many elderly users reduced to feeling worthless as they struggled to work it .......guess profit is more important.....

Like to shop in Tesco when raining outside

Visited the cafe for lunch for two. The new self order board was now in use and was straight forward to use. Ordered the tuna jacket potato and large all day breakfast. Tasted lovely and could not fault. Also ordered two lattes which were of decent size. Pleasant roomy cafe with nice decor. Comfy seating is available for those whose bodies don't like the solid chairs. Definitely would visit again soon. Just read through a few other reviews and noticed that you are only allowed a 2 hour parking time. So if like me you do a shop after the cafe make sure you note the time you arrive as getting a fine is not what you expect when eating and shopping.

I have been shopping in this supermarket for more than ten years and have always had a good impression of it. Until last weekend, I met an employee in the pharmacy who was wearing a gray pharmacy uniform and glasses. She sold me a very expensive medicine (completely unopened after purchase). Later, the GP told me that I could get a prescription for it and suggested that I return it. So I checked the Tesco pharmacy website and it clearly stated that I could return it with receipts in 30 days.But a week later, the lady had a different rude conversation. Seeing that I came to return the medication, she completely lost her previous sales courtesy and resolutely refused to return it. The reason was that if I returned the medicine, it would be thrown into the trash and wasted! Is this what customers should bear? I didn't continue to argue with her because I don't want to communicate with such a rude person, but in my opinion, this behavior that was not considered from the perspective of customer service and was only for profit is very shameful. Especially working in a pharmacy.

Best Tesco in town but I wish they looked after their plants on sale more. It?s sad how ignored they are- probably not watered enough.

Huge building with nothing in it. I thought we must have been back in Covid after seeing all the shelves empty tonight, what is going on? No staff anywhere and whole aisles empty. Not happy.

What can I say??? The two lady?s working in the petrol station are probably the most rude people I?ve met in a long time. Absolutely zero customer service skills. It amazes me how those two have kept their jobs this long.its not like I?ve come across rude in any of the times I?ve met them. No Hi, No Good afternoon basically like robots with no personality. Today was my last time at this station. I can?t be done with rude people.

Big store. Fashion section smaller than other stores. Staff helpful
Agree with others that there should be a way to extend parking from 2 hours if using the wider facilities. Makes no sense to have various services and then whack them with a parking fine for using them

Commenting only on this store, and not Tesco as a wider business entity a perfectly serviceable Tesco's which we've been using for years to do our weekly shopping.
The staff range anywhere from human and friendly, to abjectly rude and uncaring.
I've said for a lot of years, I am convinced the staff picking out online orders must be told by Tesco to treat shoppers as if they aren't there. But that's management's fault, not theirs.
But, as I say, perfectly serviceable and an adequate example of a Tesco's store.

I love Tesco! The food is spectacular, the staff are amazing. My mum recalls when I was young, my little sister fell over and while she was sorting her out, a staff member came over and looked after me. They are lovely people and always so patient. Great shop x

06/02/25 ordered my breakfast as individual items as nothing on the menu met my needs. I knew it would be more expensive but was prepared to pay the £1.50 per item. My order was
2 poached eggs
Portion of mushrooms
Portion of tinned plum tomatoes
Portion of baked beans.
Extremely dissatisfied with what turned up. Apparently a Tesco portion of mushrooms is a single mushroom, a portion of tinned plum tomatoes is a single tomato and a portion of baked beans is a couple of spoonfuls of beans. A COMPELETE RIP OFF. Over £7.50
I will never shop or eat there again.
I wish I has challenged it at the time but I didn't.
