How very strange!! How to not take in money. Stood looking at the pizza offers, woman making pizzas. Then states 'we do not open until 12' was 11.38am and thought well am not hanging eound here for 22 minutes!! Making them anyway!! Stupid. Lost at least £50 as I walked out without any shoping and also lost petrol money too. Making pizzas and saying not open yet. Not good business acumen.

Lovely small store, always well kept and clean. Only downside needs more food variety.

Generally Sainsbury's is fine however I do resent buying a pack of organic tomatoes to find zero taste and one rotten.

Rotten food and poor telephone service

Large queues at the self serve checkouts as only one staffed checkout available. Like quite a lot of supermarket chains....the shareholders dividends are more important than people jobs.
Other than that,a pleasant enough place.

Actually called in to see if they did any sandwiches like Tesco before we set off on 2.5 hour drive home. Not only do they not do sandwiches (or if they do they are well hidden) but also the "hot food" with signs for breakfast was empty at around 10.30 and had only been switched on as we got there. Lady brought a few items out as we were stood there, but unfortunately Southern fried chicken in a bun doesn't really work for breakfast. Cold quiche was not quite the same.

Nice size store, never too busy, big car park, good selection and staff are very friendly, marked it down slightly because of the lack of staff on tills and the self service area but to be fair all stores seem to be like this nowadays.

Used to be a great store to shop, however produce, especially fruit and veg, has been extremely poor over the last two years, can't fault the staff who work on the shop floor as they are always extremely helpful, I shop there every Saturday, and sometimes during the week, so have much experience regarding shopping at this store. I believe the standard of senior management involvement with customers is non existent, I have shopped at the Sedgefield store since it opened and have never seen a senior manager on the shop floor, very poor.

Went shopping yesterday at Sainsbury's in sedgefield never again will I be shopping at Sainsbury's I will be using Asda from now on after the experience I had the staff are rude name is Trevor bates was very aggressive also the shopping trolley are rubbish had no brakes on the trolley so when you trying to put your shopping in the car the trolley is blowing away especially with the storm missing people's cars from start to finish I will not be back again one word for others keep away go elsewhere
