Wolviston premier inn, a standard motorway location with a resonable selection of food establishments close by.The hotel it's self was clean and tidy. The shower was powerful with a good water flow and the room was quite from the road traffic.

Checked in to Premier room. Strong smell of chlorine and cat pee in the bedroom. Went straight out to meet family and got back after five hours. The most disgusting smell. A mix of drains and heaven knows what else in our room. Only provided with one bath and one hand towel for two people. Lying here wide awake at 2am, unable to sleep due to the smell. It is gross. My first and last time at a Premier Inn. The sweet treat is a small piece of chocolate.

Room and hotel is superb however I have been here twice and both times I was put into a room with a shared door into another room which was locked. However, because my room shared a door directly to the next room, I could hear everything: TV, walking, bathroom. It just felt like there was no privacy and we could hear everything from the other room.

Nice well looked after hotel. Its a premier inn and you get what you expect. Breakfast was great. Location OK for work but you have to travel to find anything else except usual services food. Toby Carvery was ok and 15 mins travel can find decent restaurants.

Decent premier inn, but stuck on a service station. Plenty of options for food.

Excellent hotel, recently refurbished, minor issues with their ultimate wifi, but this was sorted quickly. Only downside is the lack of restaurants nearby, fast food only.

In the hundreds of reviews I have written on Google, I rarely if ever leave bad ones. I think in this case I should - Premier Inn are renowned for setting the bar in the industry but feel this hotel lets them down a bit.On arrival at the hotel and accessing my room, I quickly noticed that despite closing the window, the noise from outside was really loud - I suspect due to failing window seals?I immediately contacted the gentleman on reception explaining that as a very light sleeper this would be a problem and asked if there was anything that could be done. He was very helpful and did offer me a different room, however the only room available was half an interlinked room - the other side of which was occupied by guests. Who were quite noisy with nothing but an internal door to block out the sound.Because of this, I elected to remain in my original room.I found the noise from the car park to be troublesome, car doors slamming, revving engines and cars speeding away down the slip road of the nearby A19 junction waking me at regular intervals during the night. Additionally, this draughty window also resulted in the room taking significant time to warm up and cooling very quickly when the heater turned off. This is in stark contrast to my recent stay at the chains Durham North hotel just a week earlier, which i found to be an absolute dream in comparison.Hopefully these maintenance issues will be ironed out during the ongoing refurb.
