Matalan is great. Good quality clothing at fair prices. There is a smaller household section, again reasonably priced, but its mainly set out for good quality clothing. I think its great and my wife loves it.

One cash till the rest are card only and self service yet again another retailer making you work to spend your own money been going to matalan for years not going anymore . Can't imagine what the queues are like on a bizzy day .

Large amount of clothes for all categories,kids ,men women all ages.Its very cheap, great discount.you can buy shoes slippers, kitchen products, bedsheets, duvet, trolley bag's and all.Good place for a big purchase.Big parking ?? facility.wheel chair ? access also available. it's near the home bargains . Was in Matalan today in Stockton there was a queue right to the end quite a lot of people stood waiting to be served, at the till there was only one taking cash ,it was apparent the people in the queue wanted to pay cash I was fourth in the queue and after waiting 10 minutes was still fourth so I give one of the shop employees the three tops I wanted to buy and a pack of underwear just to long to wait and a majority of people still like to use cash .If you can afford to let sales go by then carry on

THE SHOP IS GREAT...HOWEVER DON,T USE THE CAR PARK FOR ANY OTHER SHOP NEARBY OR LIKE ME YOU (W I L L) RECEIVE A PARKING FINE OF £100. I WENT FROM THERE TO HALFORDS IN MY WHEELCHAIR AND GOT A TICKET. THE WARDEN IS NONE VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. BE CAREFUL SHOPPERS........

They have a lot of good clothing but what I have noticed is once its gone, its gone. I saw this nice coat and was going to come in the next week and get it but by the next week they were all gone. Fuming.

You can find some good gear in here but sometimes they are out of the sizes you need. Service is good, not exactly the nicest bunch but quick and efficient.
