“Spotless room and bathroom. The town of Sedgefield is walkable, (0.6 miles to several pubs and takeaways) but you need to cross a busy road. However, there's an up-market Indian restaurant across the car park (Le Raaj). Haven't had a chance to try it yet, (it smells wonderful!). They give 20% discount on takeaways. The motel has the usual vending machine for crisps, chocolate and soft drinks, which you can pay for by credit card. In the car park, we noticed a number of street lights weren't working, which is worrying at night, when we need to walk our dog.”

“Excellent service from start to finish, sales staff not pushy but very helpful, with a sense of humour, kept up to date every stage, delivered when agreed and call 1 hour prior to delivery. Delivery guys very considerate polite and helpful - would recommend as I live my new bed”

“A large store with a wide range of value items. A large stock of rugs available which we did not expect. A large free car park is adjacent to the store. There is a small cafe on site.”

“I attended the Teesside Hospice Dragonfly launch at the walled garden on Sunday 10/09/2023. The display of dragonflies in memory of the passing of loved ones was set out brilliantly and the walled garden was the perfect setting.Afterwards we had afternoon tea in the hall. The tea was excellent but what made it special was the service provided by the staff. I am in my 70s and have eaten out a great deal over the years but can say that the service we received was the best that I have ever experienced. All of the staff were caring, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It was clear that they enjoy their work and are proud of the high standards of customer care and service they provide. Please pass on my thanks to the staff including the 2 ladies at reception.”

“Recently visited Furniture Village to buy a corner table set and was great, very happy with the sales consultant she was called Lesley Houldcroft. She couldn’t do enough for myself and my husband very happy indeed with her customer service, she explained everything how to clean ect very thorough. Thank you Lesley”

“We arrived an hour early after a tiring 8 hour drive to be told we couldn’t book in for another hour unless we paid £10! I wasn’t aware of that so we got off on the wrong foot! As long as the room is ready, I think it shouldn’t be too much to let tired guests in? Any decent hotel would do so? However the staff member was apologetic and very nice. Since last staying at a Premier Inn, room service has declined; we were told we had to request it rather than it being automatic. You had to pick up clean towels and replacement teas/coffee etc. at reception. I didn’t like that. Our particular room was showing signs of aging, particularly the bathroom. However it was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! Be aware that this Inn shares the site with several other fast food outlets and the surrounding car parks can be noisy!”
