We went to Hepworths after being recommended by a friend and couldn?t have been more impressed. My 5 year old has glasses and after a pretty terrible previous experience elsewhere for his first pair we couldn?t be happier. Hugh took the time to explain everything to us thoroughly while advising us on the most suitable pair for my son. Between him and his colleague (sorry I don?t know the lovely ladies name!) we felt totally at ease, no pressure and the whole experience was great. They were also fantastic and patient with my son who took the time to try on every pair of glasses he liked the look of! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much and I?m so pleased that we?ve found somewhere we can keep using for years to come ??

I live in York and continue to commute to Hugh?s opticians as I always receive a thorough eye health check up, never feel rushed and that he is happy to answer any questions or concerns I have. Hugh is really accommodating for his patients, he has my contact lenses delivered to my home . Finally, I?m always impressed by his choice of frames and find that other opticians don?t compare !

I have been using this independent business for eye tests, glasses and contacts since Hepworth Opticians opened. Consistently, I?ve been impressed by Hugh?s extremely thorough and careful approach to eye testing. If I need an eye test or new frames, I?d always use this opticians.

Professional helpful service. I have always gone to specc savers but decided to try my local opticians. The service was amazing, friendly, helpful and a thorough eye examination. Far superior to those I've had in the past. And they had beautiful glasses for me to choose from.

Let me say i have been to a lot of opticians and i have never been happy with the experience or my prescription glasses i needed. Today i finally found Hepworth opticians that have done a eye test that i am happy with and can't wait for my new glasses. I could not recommend them enough. A very delighted customer :)

I have just collected a new pair of spectacles. Excellent service from start to finish from Hugh the optician and his friendly and competent receptionist.Hugh is an excellent optician, very thorough during the eye test, explained fully everything he was doing. I didn't feel like I was rushed at all.When choosing my new specs there was no pressure at all in buying the most expensive frame/lens,advice given to what suited me best.I can honestly say the service I have received at Hepworths is definitely the best I have ever had from an Opticians.My husband has also recently had an eye test and he has received the same excellent service.I highly recommend Hugh to anyone who needs either an eye test or new spectacles

Entered store for information about an eye complaint and was offered very swift service by both the receptionist and the optician being seen within a couple of hours. Extensive tests carried out and ultimately forwarded me to further checks. Incredible, quick help getting to the bottom of an issue. Also helped my partner rectify glasses problems and had a solution improving vision almost instantly. We both highly recommend Hepworth and will be returning customers.
