Bradbury garage is currently (March 2025) undergoing massive improvements in the forecourt for cars and HGV'S so isn't great at the moment. That said, it's one of my favorite stopping places en route between. Teesside airport and Northumberland. They have a well stocked shop for hot and cold drinks as well as a good choice of sandwiches and pastries.
There's a picnic table at the side for those who want to have a rest before continuing their journey.
At the moment it's looking very sorry for itself but I'm sure the future reveal will be worth the wait. ?

Dropped partner off and picked him up, for a fishing trip. Put in petrol and bought a hot pie and coffee, ideal place to drop off to on the A1. A small car park means you can sit and have a cuppa and something to eat and the petrol is reasonably priced considering how close to the A1 it is.

This is normal in here. A hole in the petrol pump and only one diesel pump works.... waiting 15 mins to fuel up is a joke. Garage says new pumps are there but wont be installed, whats the point?
