From greeting, listening my problem to solving it and with smiling faces and helpful approach towards customers, I can say they are brilliant. Keep up the good work!

Very poor staff. For opening bank account i waited about 30 min even i had appointment.

Unprofessional and rude staff. Not helping at all, if we have issues, they give us a contact number or advise us to go online and chat with our customer service. I don't understand, if the staff is unable to help clients then why management hired unprofessional and uneducated people? Inshort, I was tried to bear rude behaviour so today I have closed my barclays account. Now my mind is relax for not dealing with barclays staff any more. I advise to everyone, don't go for barclays account and if you already have account with them and you are suffering same issues then it's better to close your account and open Another account with other bank for you peace of mind.

For the leading High Street Bank they only have one person serving on busiest times they always want you to use the cash machines or deposit machines when you just want to go to the counter and get served please get more staff on the counters

Great service as usual very modern which is perfect for my needs. Reviews of negativity are unfair, the cash machines that are suggested for use are great and all day to day banking, deposits, withdrawals from multiple accounts can be made from them. Move forward people not backwards. There are staff that would assist with slightly older members of the bank which this could understandably be very confusing. Keep up the good work!

I went to Barclays because I was having issues with my current bank (HSBC). So I went in to open an account with them. I had all the correct Identification on me but the girl at the door (Vicki) said "You might want to go to HSBC and get a bank statement printed out as it will mean you have something more with a UK Address".So I went to HSBC and got the statement printed out, Vicki told me to take a seat and do an online application. Then after waiting 20 minutes this fellow by the name of Omar came over and booked me an appointment and he managed to get me in straight away.I went upstairs and spoke with a woman by the name of Kaylee who said "I might not have enough ID" even though Vicki and Omar downstairs said I did. She then came back and said I had enough ID, she then asked for my contact number and a few other things, then she said "Tomorrow I will call you with your account details and within 3-5 days you will receive your card".So the next day I received no phone call, then today 25/4/2018 I got a phone call from someone else at the branch saying "For reasons that we can not say, we cannot authorise an account for you". I said "Why has my application been rejected? I was promised an account by 3 of your staff members". The woman said "Well I am sorry but they should not of said that, there was an error in your application and when we asked the team they could not say why we cannot give you account, just that we cannot give you one". Then she went on and on saying "Have you been bankrupt before or have you had bad credit in England before?".And I said "Remember, I only got here 4 weeks ago, I have no credit history, and I want to make a complaint, I feel like I am being treated unfairly". She then said "I will file a complaint for you, but maybe you want to check your credit history here". And I said "I have no credit history in England, I just got here!".Later on in the day, I got a phone call from the same person saying, "We have upheld the decision to not give you a bank account with us, for reasons we do not know, we are unable to give you an account at Barclays. And then it just went on and on like this.I am very angry and hurt by Barclays, I was treated very unfairly by them and their response is "For reasons unknown we cannot give you an account". I am trying to start my life in England, to find work, and to make something of myself and this buerarcracy is absolutely daft. I urge everyone to avoid Barclays like the plague. Especially if you are moving here from overseas, they seem to discriminate against us, even if you have English ancestry.
