Had my 60th Birthday there in the pod on Saturday 28th Sept 2024. the girls serving us was so lovely and did her job very well. but the food was so a let down. cold and steaks where not cooked and looked like they just cooked them in the oven. not good for the price. very disappointed as the had all pods full and two weddings on. i think you had to much on to cope with the food. service was spot on. just food was very disappointing.
i have eaten there before and didn't have a problem before.

Booked a pod for a family event which was pretty good. Food was good if a touch overpriced, service was excellent.

We had dinner on a Sunday night, the food was excellent, the quality and amount was outstanding. Clearly the restaurant is well managed from the moment we arrived all staff were polite and courteous, all dressed smartly, and wanted to please the customer. We both try to eat less meat in our diet and the menu offered plenty of meat free options.Just wished we lived closer so we could visit more often. Thank you.

I experienced a fantastic day at the South Causey Inn, from the moment we arrived the staff could have not been more attentive and friendly. We stayed for a meal and again great staff, helpful, friendly and made our visit. The food was lovely, with a great choice on the menu and a great selection of wines. For a special occasion I'd highly recommend the venue, it's lovely, great for couples and well worth a visit.
Dined in a pod outside good experience food about average I had lasagna certainly recommend this venue

Had a brilliant nights sleep. Comfy beds, spacious room. Booked through Pets Pyjamas and so our dog was also well looked after, with a bed, treats and bowls supplied.
Fantastic Sunday roast yesterday and gorgeous breakfast cooked to order.
And to top it all off, feeding the alpacas and sheep this morning was such a perfect way to top off the last day of our holiday.
Oh and not forgetting, all the people working there were so friendly and helpful highly recommend you visit ?

Just went for sunday lunch.
The Yorkshire pudding was the best one I've had in a long time.
The chicken was lovely and moist.
And the mash was very tasty.
Service was fantastic.

Lovely place, staff very welcoming and efficient.loads of parking.
Food and drinks: Decent range of drinks. Food was good, decent portions and really tasty. Presentation very good. Lots of choice on menu. Only regret is I was too full to try one of the delicious deserts.

My friend and I had afternoon tea at South Causey Inn and it was great. Food was delicious and there was so much of it we had to take majority of it home. Service was great, attentive but not in your face. It's also just a very beautiful place to be. We walked around the whole area and it's a stunning place and just a lovely walk so when you're there take time to just explore the surroundings too.
Noteworthy details: It's a dog friendly place too!
