As a regular customer, It's a delight to visit Cooplands in Stanley, Co. Durham. A good range of Sandwaiches ready to buy, hot pies and pasties, and cakes are always on display, and the staff are always happy to make a sandwich, or salad box, to order. The shop is always very clean, well presented, and the staff are lovely and pleasant at all times.

I popped in fora sausage roll for my grandson and was greeted by a friendly greeting. Natasha pointed out the very good deal I would get by buying four instead of one. She had a lovely manner.

We booked the monthly Saturday supper club. The evening was perfect! Seating is limited in the gorgeously styled bakery, tucked away in a terraced street. But what they lack in size , they make up in quality! The food was presented beautifully in vintage crockery and tasted as good as it looked. Service was excellent. Would definitely book again.

Went with a group of 4 last Saturday night for the 3 course supper club. Homemade mushroom soup, homemade lasagne and of course homemade pudding apricot crumble cheesecake. Everything is homemade and is delicious highly recommended

We?ve just been to the first ?supper club? here tonight. A three course meal for £20 but everything was home made, including the pasta. Only 12 seats inside so it was so small and perfect, the food was amazing. Can?t wait for the next one to be advertised, we?ll be there!

I reviewed this in 2017 and have been attending regularly ever since. It deserves a further review. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is top quality. Corn beef and red onion pie is exceptional and not available often enough. I would highly recommend this place to eat in or eat out. Well done.

We were staying at a b& b nearby and took a short stroll to the Olive Stone. Very clean and , helpful, friendly staff. We both had a pizza and a hot drink. They were made to order and the service was excellent The pizza?s were beautiful and very filling. Lots of local people were nipping in for takeout while we ate in. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely love this bakery. Tasty bread and cakes and the man that works there is so nice and friendly. My three year old boy loves the cannoli too. Definitely recommend this place. Thank goodness it has stayed open for takeaway - the bread is too tasty to miss out on
