Called in with tonsillitis, was seen and prescribed antibiotics all within 15 minutes. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The staff are amazing, the patient's here don't deserve them. To be fair though, the patient's don't deserve much. I've seen honey badgers with more patience. I don't expect the patient base to know the difference between those two words though.

I visited the Pharmacy for some guidance as I needed to buy some OTC medication, given that I take a variety of different medicines I need to be very careful for contradictions. I spoke with James he was great offering advice and guidance on which medication I could purchase. In the past when I have visited other pharmacies I have always felt that I?ve not been listened too, this was certainly not the case this time. I felt reassured, I?ll definitely be using here again thank you so much

Its the 2nd time I've used this pharmacy for help, the 1st time for infected insect bites and this time for a sore throat. It's got friendly staff, I had to wait a bit but i didn't mind as could see they were really busy. James the pharmacist I saw was very helpful both times when other pharmacies were closed saved a trip to A and E

Rang 24 times today to ask if my prescription was ready. Either line , kept ringing, line was busy or my call was ended. This was over a 7 hour period. I decided to ring the store. No facility to speak to customer service. Tried another route automated service said no one is available to take your call. Surely not answering the phone is counter productive as everyone just turns up waiting in long queues to be seen and geting more anoyed and agitated with the terrible customer service. This has been going on for at least a couple of years. Why doesn't management attempt to try and do the right thing by it's customers and resolve their problems ?

Visited ASDA Pharmacy around 1:30pm
12/12/24 not impressed at all.
By all means talk to your customers but you must also be aware of your queues!!
The lady serving behind the counter needs to manage her queues she spent about 5 minutes chatting to her customer, in the meantime she had a queue of 7 people build up, you could hear the topic of conversation and it was purely chit chat.
She then proceeded to chat to the next customer who she obviously knew well again just general chit chat as if she had all the time in the world.
I appreciate its nice to be polite but please be conscious of others waiting as you may not understand their urgency.
I literally popped out to collect pain meds the doctor had sent over for my elderly Mam who has just broken her shoulder and was in agony, as a carer for my Mam and my Dad who is terminally ill, I had to leave them at home alone to come and collect pain meds.
So please spare a thought that others may not have the luxury of stopping for a chit chat and need to get home to vulnerable family members.
I may add that there where further staff at the back of Asda Pharmacy behind the counter, 1 man and another 3 women, I appreciate your putting up prescriptions etc.. but to pop your heads out to look and see the queue building up and not assist or even prompt your colleague to stop chit chat or to speed up is unforgivable.
Am I annoyed yes, as everytime I?ve had the misfortune to use this pharmacy there?s been a wait.

If I want a specific brand of medication and am unable to get it here, I am more than free to take it elsewhere. Rather than be a drama queen talking about my life is in danger because I'm too stubborn to take no for an answer because I don't actually understand how pharmacy works.

I don't normally have much issue in here but one of the pharmacist, I think newer, refused to give me a brand of medication because the prescription wording said if available. I asked if it was available, he said yes! But wouldn't give it to me as it said if!!! He made me go and get the prescription changed, wasted GPs time (that's in short supply) telling me it's Asda policy. I've NEVER had this issue before! I was left without emergency medication while it was sorted. I did tell him this but he still refused to swap it. The other staff are absolutely brilliant and on other occasions they would absolutely get 5 stars! That man will kill someone. I'm yet to speak to a manager. But I will!

Very poor and slow service.

Takes 3 weeks to get a prescription in and still come away with an owing-slip. Service takes 10 minutes without a queue. If there?s a queue, you?ll need to clear your calendar

Absolutely hopeless, last 3 times I?ve been in there?s been a problem with every prescription. Asked if they could ring somewhere else for me as I?d been sent straight from hospital to collect a prescription. No stock so would of gone somewhere else to be told I?d have to ring round myself, asked what they could do and the lady replied ?nothing we can do?So unorganised even when there?s no queue.
