First time in 5 years weve started shopping here again wont be back.
Checkouts reduced as mostly self checkout and this queue was huge.At least 30 trollies in line waiting as its slow.
Only 2 Cashier checkouts on with 2 queues down 2 full aisles.
Nobody had the sense to stick bums on seats and open another till up.Nesded 4 opening really.
I was literally ready to leave my trolley and walk out after 15 mins stuck in an aisle for checkout until 3 people in front did it first and i waited 5 more minutes.
More staff running round in self checkout helping those who cant use them.
Shocking wait times and checkout positions.
What happened to 'if theres a queue we'll open a till'?
Back to Lidl and Aldi for us......

Use only if you have to
Very few manned tills and none after 7pm
Self service staff surly. And more interested in taking among themselves.

Visited ASDA Pharmacy around 1:30pm
12/12/24 not impressed at all.
By all means talk to your customers but you must also be aware of your queues!!
The lady serving behind the counter needs to manage her queues she spent about 5 minutes chatting to her customer, in the meantime she had a queue of 7 people build up, you could hear the topic of conversation and it was purely chit chat.
She then proceeded to chat to the next customer who she obviously knew well again just general chit chat as if she had all the time in the world.
I appreciate its nice to be polite but please be conscious of others waiting as you may not understand their urgency.
I literally popped out to collect pain meds the doctor had sent over for my elderly Mam who has just broken her shoulder and was in agony, as a carer for my Mam and my Dad who is terminally ill, I had to leave them at home alone to come and collect pain meds.
So please spare a thought that others may not have the luxury of stopping for a chit chat and need to get home to vulnerable family members.
I may add that there where further staff at the back of Asda Pharmacy behind the counter, 1 man and another 3 women, I appreciate your putting up prescriptions etc.. but to pop your heads out to look and see the queue building up and not assist or even prompt your colleague to stop chit chat or to speed up is unforgivable.
Am I annoyed yes, as everytime I?ve had the misfortune to use this pharmacy there?s been a wait.

Thought I'd try the cafe for the 1st time on Monday 30th Sept and it was shocking the half a slice of bacon was over cooked .the egg had a solid yolk with a tea and a coffee with toast you had to buy separately the bill was over £14 . Definitely not worth it I mentioned it to a member of staff and he said I'm not a chef . Doubt I'll be going back

Scored as only 1 star because of the customer service at the till. I was behind a lady at the till and the lady was on a wheelchair trolley. She was struggling putting the shopping back in her trolley after it had been scanned. The lady at the checkout just watched on as the lady struggled not offering any help. The lady was struggling reaching some of the products due to where the till operated had pushed them after scanning. Eventually the lady in the wheelchair had to ask the till operator to pass them to her
The till operator had no dialogue and no interest in this disabled lady
Atrocious customer service and management need to address this with their staff

Check all the price in this Asda, they are often marked up wrong are the offers are very misleading, they often put products that are on offer with products that are the same brand but a different flavour together so you end up paying full price for them

35 years of age 16stone with a beard id?d for a scratch card. Clearly someone having a bad claiming I look under 16 deliberately taking the Micky. Complaint made. I would?ve id?d her but she looked like a fossil.
