The screens were in use when we went in so we went to the till to order, there is a sign at the till saying Please order at the kiosk cash and card payments taken, we were refused and told to go and order at the screen, after that a young lad got served at the kiosk and payed cash!

Food: as expected
Service: the staff were apologetic and kind however I am baffled by this experience, 10PM on a Saturday night? we order and it?s not that busy really but there are some people around and eventually a big group appear at around 10:30PM however I don?t understand how it takes 45 mins for me to get some KFC when I?ve literally went the weather spoons the next morning and got my food within 15 mins midday on Sunday (which was way busier than the KFC was), we ordered Dominos and that was way slower than usual but it was still in our hands within 25 mins and we got that delivered, I?m literally sat at a burger restaurant ?tangos? in Durham and I?m surprised it?s been 30 mins and I?ve been served and eaten my food by then, 15 mins to get the food and 15 mins to eat it and I?m sat here and all I can think about is how it took me 45 mins to get some bloody chicken?.

I go all over the country, and try different branches, by far this is the best KFC I've had in a long while. A hidden gem. Food piping hot and very tasty. Check it out.

So disappointing! Got a krushum oreo and it was 3/4 full. Honestly it is not like it is cheap and cheerful and then you get hardly any in. It absolutely is a joke!

Came in on a quiet Friday afternoon and ordered 2 x boneless banquets.
Terri welcomed us in and brought our order out. With it being such a hot day, she brought empty ice cream tubs out with the meal but told us to go back up when we were finished so they could be filled without melting whilst we ate.
Very kind and caring service from Terri. Will happily return.

Best food I?ve had in a while from this KFC. The new dirty fries looked grim, and didn?t taste much better, but other than that it was perfect

I used the drive through on my break from work, ordered a rice box and was told to wait in car park which I did. And I waited. And I waited and I waited. I waited half an hour then ran in the pouring rain to the restaurant to ask where my meal was. I was greeted with "we have no rice, you could have the rice box without the rice if you wanted". So a chicken fillet on its own then for £6??? No thanks. I asked why noone had been to tell me there was no rice and I'd been waiting for half an hour only to be told he didn't have time to let me know. I asked for a refund.....they couldn't refund my card so was given change.
So, I was late back to work being docked half an hour's pay, I was starving hungry and cross. Way to go KFC. I wouldnt recommend the Bishop Auckland KFC to anyone.
