They are greedy try get money out of you wanted a supporting letter same I had before updated one but the same. And the receptionist keeps going on about doing a new one when I don?t need new one and she wouldn?t let me get ward in so I just put the phone down because she was making me angry ?. They very desperate for money they shouldn?t be making money out of peoples misery for supporting letters as I?m suicidal living at dean bank. They just shout out your personal medical problems so everyone can hear. It very personal

Only one doctor worth seeing in my experience. Last doctor printed off the patient?s before me medical notes and gave them to me to take to hospital. He basically didn?t have a clue what I was talking about. Rang on Tuesday this week to try and get a pre bookable appointment with a certain doctor, was told that there wasn?t any and to come down to the surgery or ring on Friday morning. Went down this morning at 7:45, no one before me. Asked for an appointment with this doctor to be told he has no appointments left for today. I asked why, to he told ? looks like someone has beat me to making an appointment? ?dr @@@@@@@ has only few appointments for today and they?ve all been taken?. How? ????? shambles

Vile staff, bullying tactics. No understanding of mental health.Find a different practice. The practice manager here has no medical background.

This has been our GP practice since we moved from London in September last year and I have nothing but good things to say. The service is very efficient and the staff I have met are excellent. I would particularly like to pass on our thanks to Chris Robson part of the Physiotherapy team. Chris is brilliant, he is very knowledgeable, considers the patients medical history before the consultation, asks effective questions and is extremely thorough and has made two referrals for our family to the correct services for their medical issues. I cannot tell you how many Physiotherapists we have seen collectively that barely listen to what you have to say, then send you home with some exercises that often make some symptoms worse. He is an asset to your practice. Thank you

First in line at Oxford road for them to change it to St. Andrews after my appointment time do made back of this que as computer wouldn?t log me in £40 down as paying for lifts and a babysitter and waste of atleast a hour wasted to complain I?ve not sent a sample when I was on phone two days earlier and sent it then but now that?s not good enough, always have problems with all staff but actually doctors at this place no wounder most leave

This practice evidently needs a few lessons in timekeeping. I?m a completely reasonable person and don?t mind 10 or so minutes of waiting but I cannot condone sitting for half an hour waiting to see a nurse (Audrey I think she was called) when I?m in excruciating pain. There is no empathy or consideration for patients, maybe if you?d told people wait times when people arrived for their appointments they wouldn?t mind so much but instead being left alone in the upstairs waiting room in a considerable amount of pain is completely unacceptable. Patients wouldn?t dream of turning up half an hour late for appointments so the fact that staff think they can do this without any attempt at explanation or apology is completely unacceptable. I had to leave as I couldn?t wait any longer due to the pain I was in and now I?m no further forward with any of my problems. Disappointed doesn?t cover it.

Oxford road surgery a partner surgery of Dr Oliphant and co is currently running covid vaccinations, elderly patients who are given appointments are being left to wait outside in cold temperatures for 20 plus minutes treat no better than animals in a cattle Mart. Many with disability needs.Well done st Andrew medical medical practice. But what can we expect when money gets put before patients needs.£15 plus for each injection given.Ridiculous.

I cannot praise the staff here highly enough. Thank you for your care, attention to detail and commitment, especially in circumstances which continue to challenge everyone. Yes, we may have to wait for a while for the phone to be answered sometimes but I find e-consult a useful and time saving way to access our medical team, in a non emergency situation. They always respond within 24 hours and often earlier.Special thanks to Debbie for her unwavering care and help.

Visited Dr.***** at the surgery today 22/06/22. I have hip bursitis and spondilolysinthesis. My hip has had two rounds of physio and two steroid injections through private due to a pending claim. The physio made no improvement and only the first injection worked effectively. Added to this I think I am starting to get arthritis in multiple joints.I was met with, lose weight. I am currently 16st 7lb and have long covid, making exercise difficult. After explaining physio didn't work I was offered physio. He told me steroid injections are a last resort. The only thing he could offer me after that was Ibuprofen. Which has an interaction with depression meds I'm on. I just had to weigh up the risk with the pain. I can't tolerate high doses of codeine and paracetamol isn't strong enough.Safe to say I won't waste my time with them again.Simon

Also had a call from the practice the other day and ths receptionist was second to none and was so lovely and accomodating as a new patient!

All staff, no matter how busy, are polite & helpful. Strange getting used to new system of being dealt with for treatment during Covid. Generally when you ring to make appt you are automatically put on hold if line is busy and in a queue system. Receptionist answering your call will ask about your health concerns before deciding how you should be dealt with, a call back triage appt or a face to face appointment with a practitioner - usually a practice nurse for minor examinations. They will then decide next course of action they think best for your condition or prescribe treatment.
