It's a worn out looking store.
The majority of staff don't generally happy to be there. The odd one is more friendly.
It's often lacking in stock.
I avoid this branch of Asda unless I want to go to other shops near it.

The most depressing shopping experience in the north east, dirty, understaffed, shelves always empty, Boring selection of food, Roof Leaks everytime it rains (been like this for over two years) just awful, needs major improvments.

The coffee shop is poor, no toaster. Apparently it's been like this for 6 months. Toast on offer is warm bread....

Just diabolical!! Nowhere near enough staff!! Was practically forced to use the self-service tills, even though I normally do not, because the ONLY cashier with an open till was faced with problem after problem from her customer who had bought almost all her shopping from the yellow sticker shelf. The shelves in some places were almost empty and I did not see very many shelf stackers either so where exactly ARE all the staff in this place? It took me 45 minutes just trying to buy 4 items - disgusting. Even then, I had to wait in a queue for a member of staff to confirm my age.

What a hole. Half empty shelves.. grubby.... staff don't look happy. Only 1 manned till open. Self service or wait for ages. So I went to self service. My till did that thing where you had to wait for a staff member to verify. There were 2 staff... on the section I was in. Only one person needed their help. What was the other staff member doing... having a conversation with the staff member who was supposed to be helping someone. I'm.not patient and I'm especially fed up if I'm waiting for someone who is free to help but decides to chat to her colleague. Is this ASDA so great that I can forgive the shoddy customer service?? Nope, tbh I was seconds away from leaving my trolley... and walking out. Its not like there's no competition out there.

1st time coming hear ,loved the whole shopping experience ,friendly well mannered staff ,clean public toilets upstairs, clean kitchen and lush food in the cafe my kids enjoyed the kids meal wish toasties and chips was on kids meal or like a chicken burger with plain bun and chips on kids meal though as my oldest loves chicken burgers . Staff was polite ,well mannered in both cafe and downstairs clean environment and friendly we will be back .food was delicious we enjoyed it all very well priced.
