Would definitely recommend The Tuns, excellent food , ordered the bolognaise very tasty and filling, the cowboy burger is a must, very friendly staff great atmosphere above and beyond, perfect place to go for a drink and something to eat. Thank you so much to all the staff for a great evening.

The Tuns on Hillhouse lane, Sadberge Darlington in in a cute little village, Sadberge.
The pub is a lovely clean pub, serves food but I only stayed for a pint of shandy. £4.40
Early in the afternoon, Thursday. so not many people.
Has a beer garden with 3 tables outside.
Customer service spot on.

What a pleasurable experience the food was amazing the weather was beautiful. Staff are very nice even came out and had a nice conversation with us. Food was absolutely beautiful very generous portions with the good prices to match. Quiet location overall amazed by The Tuns and the staff. Will definitely return.

One of the best parmos I've ever had. The chips were incredible too, so crispy on the outside and soft in the middle ?? perfect, great atmosphere and lovely beer garden too, we'll definitely be back!

Staying in Sadberge for 6 weeks. So decided to check out The Tuns. A lovely couple run the pub. Although I didn't eat, the menu looked good and responsibly priced. Good selection on offer and dedicated evenings for special meals. Typical village pub with good service, highly recommended.

We phoned to see when they served food till on a Saturday...said 8.....we arrived about 7.15....3 adults and 1 child....ordered food and drinks at bar....about 10 mins later lady came and said due to u forseen circumstances could only serve burgers...which none of us wanted but as it was so late had to accept it! Sadly didn't enjoy my chicken burger at all! Very disappointed

The hospitality we experienced was truly exceptional. The food and drink service stood out as unparalleled in quality. Our entire family, including our dog, felt warmly welcomed. Every dish was freshly prepared using local produce, which added an authentic touch to our delicious dining experience!

Not sure what happened used to be a very busy place a couple of years ago. A Sat night 7:30 only 5 people in only 2 sets dining. Zero atmosphere. Menu was uninspiring and food was average. Such a shame.
