Your young serving staff were very welcoming and very professional. This friendly, attentive and polite attitude earned the 10% service charge.The food was delicious and well presented, compliments to the chef/chefs. The Davenport is a beautiful, well maintained establishment with traditional decorating and interesting art work. Thank you.

Experienced a one night stay at the Devonport hotel. Excellent service, the rooms were beautiful and clean.
Staff very polite and couldn?t do enough to help.
Breakfast was beautiful.
Location was great and fabulous walks by the river.

Beautifully appointed hotel with outdoor seating. Menu is a bit pricey compared to some but the service was excellent.

Very well finished room and bathroom. No noise problems and very generous breakfast portions. The room did get a little hot at night but there was an oscillating fan.
Note that rooms at the back of the hotel get a view of the car park, whilst rooms at the front over look the countryside!

Haven't stayed here for decades but have recently visited a few times for food with groups of friends.
The menu is interesting and quite varied. Everything that I've tried has been excellent. The dining area inside is light and spacious, with a good range of tables to accommodate different sizes of groups. The staff are what make this place: they are friendly and welcoming and just attentive enough.
I will keep going back.

We stayed and ate at The Devonport the night before we flew out of Teesside airport. Everything about our experience was wonderful. From the staff, to the food and service in the restaurant, to the room in which we stayed, everything was perfect. A big thank you to the manager Jen, for making us feel so welcome.

High quality spec apartment attached, beautiful attention to detail and comfort. Tranquil stay. Great food, wine list & staff at pub, delicious supper. Welcoming & warm from tel booking, arrival & check out. Electric charger a bonus. Wish we were staying longer to explore area. Will return as a definite! Middleton one Row a gem.
