“A lot has changed since I was there lost, over a decade ago.Things have modernised, space has been used more effectively and the most popular places have found their way to Peterlee, such as McDonald's, B&M, Asda, etc.Access to the area has definitely improved, it feels like you can get to the shops from almost every direction.The retail park, small as it is, is located right next to the town centre shops, which is very handy indeed.So from over a decade ago things have definitely improved.”

“Lovely shop selling the old fashioned sweets, lady who was working was very helpful and made a lovely gift bag for me with the sweets that I had selected. Only problem I had was when I tried to pay with a £20.00 note to be told she could not accept it because it was not legal tender anymore. I was quite embarrassed about this as the shop was full and quickly paid with a newer note. Since then I have been informed the note is legal tender and the date is 30-09-2022, perhaps staff need to be better informed. This would save customer embarrassment and could result in lost sales if no alternative payment method is available.”
