We purchased carpets and underlay for our through lounge, hall stairs, and landing from a local carpet shop. Following a very poor fitting experience from their fitters and numerous excuses as to why the fitting wasn't right. ( it must be the floor causing the bumps, the bumps will walk out over the next few weeks, it must be the underlay, the colour of the carpet is unforgiving) we decided to go to Global. We bought exactly the same carpet and it was fitted yesterday in each of the rooms. What a completely fantastic job. Jamie and his whole team were great from start to final fitting. Darren and Jason, the fitters, were brilliant, their attention to detail, and professionalism made the whole job a pleasure. And the carpets.?Well, they look stunning and not a sign of any of the issues we had with the previous firm. We should have gone to Global first. We would 100% recommend them, so if you're thinking of buying new flooring, go to Global. You won't be disappointed. Thanks guys, you turned a bad experience into something above and beyond our expectations.

Excellent service from buying the flooring to it being laid. The communication was brilliant. The joiner did a beautiful job laying the floor and we are very happy with it. I would definitely recommend Global Flooring in Easington

Absoulute disgrace customer service. ive gone here for years and never had such a diabolical service and lack of care given.went in ordered and paid for a carpet to collect at 3pm sat. gets there to be td the folk lift is broke couldnt cut it. which is fair enough cant be helped. Rang monday to be told NO still hasnt been cut now the warehouse lads are out. No care given by the girl on the phone that ive now no carpet doen in my house in winter with kids. so i can either wait until or yea they dont know when for a carpet or get my money bk. Im now at work all week and cant go to alternative carpet shop until sat. Still there was no care given from person on the phone no sorry nothing.Ive bought from here for years and never seen such careless staff with not an once of apoligies. Disgraceful

After being let down by a different well known carpeting firm I contacted Global Flooring. Their service was exceptional with everything clearly explained. The gold package whole house flooring if definitely recommended for those moving into a new home. All staff very professional and helpful and the whole job was completed in one day as planned. No fuss, no stress! Well worth five stars.

I?m a big supporter of local shops and businesses. But it?s backfired with this company. I bought a load of floor tiles for three rooms and almost £400 of underlay from Global after winning some carpet in an auction. I told them I?d buy carpet from them as the auction carpet was probably not enough to do the job. The shop told me their carpet fitter would be in touch to fit both underlay and carpet. A month later I followed up to check on the carpet fitter. I was told I couldn?t use their fitter as carpets were bought elsewhere. Frustrating as I?d expected the work to be done by then, or a call to say the fitter wasn?t able to do the job. Now I have to find a fitter who?s not attached to a carpet shop. Not the best experience.

Global Flooring was recommended by our Kitchen fitter, who had used them for his own home.We chose Heringbone Acacia, which is a stunning engineered wood.From our first visit to the shop through to completion of the job, the staff provided an excellent service and Rob's workmanship is second to none.We have a kitchen diner and went for tiles on the kitchen side with the Herringbone Acacia on the diner and into the hall. This resulted in two contractors and we ran into problems with our floor being completely uneven and sloping in different places!Jamie went above and beyond to ensure both sides of the floor would work and the end result was superb.We highly recommend Global Flooring and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
