I went this morning to see if Costa had its Christmas hot chocolates and it did! The lasses were lovely showed me all the cups and just were excited and happy to be at work! The drink was ?wow? thanks Costa!!!!

Super friendly staff.. I wish that they had an area where you could take your tray and cups back yourself when you finish as every time I go the tables have used cups and plates on from previous customers. It?s not that staffs fault as they are busy serving customers so it would help them out too.

We regularly go to Costa for coffee and toast for breakfast. If you can get in past the Crèche and mothers plus business people and students with laptops all is good. Some people take advantage of the free WiFi and mothers spend ages gossiping but outside of that we like to go.

Before drinking I noticed our cups had lipstick stains on them, told a member of staff who couldn't have been happier to help. She insisted on making fresh drinks for us and apologised for the inconvenience. Customer service at its best!

Popped in here for a coffee on a Monday afternoon for the first time.It's a typical Costa but the locals seemed very friendly.Service was relatively quick. I ordered a coffee and had a sandwich and some millionaires shortbread. Total cost for this was just over ten pounds which I think is expensive.The sandwich was dry and stale so I couldn't eat it.Plenty of seating inside and outside. Ashtrays provided on tables outside too.Toilet was clean, as was the store. Probably would visit again but not have any food due to overpricing and quality of the food.

This place just gets worse. Costa coffee in Peterlee are charging top notch prices for mediocre coffee delivered in a scruffy environment. Toilets are in dire need of a good clean and redecoration. Behind the counter area is untidy and quite grubby.The card machine hadn't worked for over 3 weeks when we called and then at the same time the dishwasher was out of action so paid top price for paper cups. The staff are not unpleasant but need to ensure that the tables are cleared promptly and that the place is kept clean and tidy. This is the worst Costa we have been in. Not sure if head office consider Peterlee not worth any attention. The Arnison Centre Costa in Next was refurbished when it didn't need it and Peterlee is just ignored.
