They tried to charge me £16 for 2 bundles of the £5 freezer offer. Whatever I buy I always seem to have to ask for my receipt. Waste of time having the Co op app as they never seem to take the money off your offers.

Had to put a star on to post.
Check use by dates.
Went into store for milk and noticed it was three days out of date, gave it to a staff member who just said oops. Not the first time on other dairy products either. Also can be difficult to redeem money off offers from the app, staff in my opinion try not to apply them , if challenged try to blame the system ( profit I wonder)

Visited the co-op in Easington Colliery this morning and the service was appalling, I was served by Vicki Collier who put my items through didn't say how much it came too, didn't ask if I needed a bag and didn't even get a receipt.Yes I used to work with her and she got sacked, however this had nothing to do with me and as a paying customer I should be treat better than what I did this morning.Such a shame as the other members of staff are very friendly and I visit the co-op on a regular basis, however it has certainly put me off if this is the way paying customers get treat.

To whom it may concern,I have shopped at the coop ,for years,and always had wonderful help and service from the staff. So I was really shocked at Angela young dismissal, she is a valued member and always ready to help, she will be missed ,not just by me but lots of people, I felt I must say some thing in her defence, but it seems loyalty counts for nothing, yours sincerely. excellent selection of produce and staff are very open and approachable compared to other places, they offer you a coop card when you pay as you'll be earning some pennies after each pound spent and their app offers you weekly discounts which you can pick then use in store, they supply a temporary card which you can register with online then they will post you your permanent one a week or so later.Only issues thus far is that the store has had its fair share of shoplifters that sometimes walk in but I've noticed that in some occasions there is a shortage when it comes to security but I can see why due to safety concerns and that thieves are badly representing our community.

Handy for quick collections when you run out of produce.... Staff are very helpful however one lady in particular, never smiles for every visit??Always makes me feel a little uncomfortable.... Shame really...
