Been living in a flat from this company for 8 years and not once have they done any repairs reported. The repairs I've had done myself and tried tp give them recipes so they can deduct form my rent but never did. BTW strange for a company to keep changing their name every 3 years.

Good luck getting repairs done. I have been waiting for 2 big repairs to be done to the property I rent and all I get is the excuse of 'the landlord uses his own contractor'. Surely missing window glass abd mould in the house is good enough reason to get your own contractors in and just charge the landlord? Never again will I deal with this company. Hartlepool branch were really helpful but Easington let them down.They also never seem to be available to answer the phone.

I contacted Castledene after having a challenging time with my previous agents, I initially spoke to Lizzie who was extremely helpful and encouraging. Throughout the time I have worked with them, they have been quick with their responses, professional and extremely helpful. Abbey has also been incredibly supportive on this journey. Thank you Team!

The service I have received from Abbey here has been above and beyond, she cares about her clients and their needs. Above all else she keeps her clients informed unlike most other letting agencys which is astronomically brilliant. If you have any issues with your home or have any questions regarding any housing I'd highly recommend running it past Abbey as her knowledge is out of this world, thank you again Abbey for all your help and patience.

I had a bit of a false start while dealing with the Hartlepool branch and then I was passed over to the Easington branch. Wow, what a difference. They kept me updated if there was anything I was unsure about. Abbey was always on hand to guide me. Every time I contacted them they were magnificent. Always polite and very very helpful. Thank you so much for everything.

DO NOT RENT THROUGH THIS AGENCYPassed all their checks, however following a claim they made that my rent was apparently two weeks late they asked for a guarantor, having no guarantor to put forward they then tried to retain the holding fee despite passing all checks however the requirement of a guarantor meaning we could not reasonably proceed with the tenancy?Who would have thought that even he banning of letting agents fees, these scumbags till try novel ways to screw you over?I will be taking action for the holding deposit to be returned

I've been a tenant for 18 months with castledene and never had a problem until a few days ago when we were left with a broken roof which leaked in so much water. We were left with no electricity and no heating early hours of Saturday morning upon contacting castledene we were directed to the hartlepool branch and their response was less than helpful even after several phone calls and promises someone would call us back with a solution, the office closed at 12 and we were left to our own devices. I really did not know what else to do I contacted ashleigh Rankin (Easington branch) who we normally deal with on her personal Facebook account and on a Sunday. On her day off she contacted several companies and kept in contact with me through the whole process, we got our power and heating back on Sunday afternoon. We really can't thank her enough personally i feel she is a credit to the castledene team

My recent experience with Castledene is absolutely remarkable. Recently I was buying a house through them and William, the manager of the branch jumped on the phone and even thought he wasn't involved in the process, offered his help.Proactiveness, professionalism, efficiency, honesty and straight talking that's features that I'm looking for in people I'm working with and William meets all this criteria. We have been with Castledean for over 6 months, although our initial experience was not great this has been completely turned around since William took over the branch. As a landlord I have complete faith in William, he has gone beyond to get a challenging tenant back on track, he is professional and does what he says he will do, with good communication along the way. I look forward to adding more properties to manage with William and his team!

AVOID at ALL costs. ROGUE landlords & letting agents. Taking rent for properties which are vermin infested, & taking advantage of people's VULNERABILITIES, as they believe they have the monopoly on the rental market, in their current location.Happy to take your money, but when the property you rent from them makes you so unwell you end up in hospital - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING TO PERSUADE YOU TO TAKE ON ONE OF THEIR COUNTLESS, RUNDOWN, UNINHABITABLE PROPERTIES & THEN DO NOT A SINGLE THING TO HELP YOU.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED......
