Staff are always helpful and friendly and there is always plenty of parking. They have an obsession for slicing bread so if you want a loaf that's not sliced. I suggest looking elsewhere.

I think I may just be used to small Tesco's, I love in Boston, Lincolnshire and I come to Newton Aycliffe to see family every now and then, and this Tesco is Massive, is got everything. There's so much you can't find in every other Tesco, and If you have time, good luck not spending too much

I do most of my shopping here it's okay most of the time except the security over the years accusing you of stealing always picking on the ones covered in tattoos but their not part of actual Tesco so I won't blame Tesco's it self

Tills don't open until 8am so it's self serve which is tough if you have a large amount of shopping.
There are assistants on hand but good luck with getting their attention as they are too busy chatting to each other to be troubled by customers so they tend to finish their conversations first.
The isles are cluttered with crates and staff doing delivery shops so you can't get access to a lot of areas and they usually have the bulk but area completely blocked off with those tall trolleys of food so god help you if you want anything from there as it's extremely difficult to move the crates out of the way to get access.

Not a bad shop prices are high unless you have a club card, soke good deals for club card holders

I was always happy with my experience when I visited this store. I have been getting regular deliveries for the past 18 months and they usually have everything on my list. They occasionally have substitutes or unavailable items but much better than other supermarkets with regards to this. Delivery drivers are always polite and friendly and deliver my items with care.

My only gripe is that they regularly run out of Irn Bru 2l. It has been reduced down to 2 facings from a much larger space. I regularly have to travel to Bishop Auckland to buy it now. So I try do my big shop there now as driving 6 miles each way for irn bru multiple times a month is ridiculous.

Had everything in store. Didn't have to look too hard. I was told when choosing my wine that I could get 6 bottles with 25% off and that there was already 20% off so, of course, I bought 6 bottles of wine!
