Went for afternoon tea. Menu showed 4 sandwiches and we got 3. No explanation.
Menu showed 4 cakes, we got 3. No explanation. The table that arrived after us got the full menu. £21 pp for basic bread and basic ham is overpriced.

Had a fantastic overnight stay and spa for my 40th. Was treated to a treatment, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly, offering a free room upgrade and drink on arrival. Spa was lovely and massage was just what I needed.
The food was good on the evening and for breakfast. Perhaps the menu could be a little more expensive and would love to see some renovation / modern decoration on the rooms but overall a great night away.

Great spa break at Redworth Hall,
Deluxe spa room as lovely and was very well presented and clean on arrival. Check in was smooth and staff were very polite and helpful.
The spa facilities were great too with a good size pool and spacious sauna and steam room. It did get quite busy in the spa however there are plenty of seats and beds so this wasn?t an issue.
We had treatments at the retreat which were great and the staff were lovely, nothing was a problem.
The breakfast was buffet style and had a large selection. We also had dinner at the 1744 restaurant which was remarkable from start to finish, highly recommend the chicken yakitori.
Overall great experience and will definitely return again in the future.

Rooms: Room was clean and spacious and bed comfy.
Food and drinks: We arrived before check in time so went to bar for lunch partner had club sandwich I
had chips with chips shop curry sauce both very nice and reasonable price for a hotel. Evening meal in restaurant again price wise about what would be expected. Portions of some dishes do look a bit small so I can understand why some people have complained but both meals I had were ample for me.
Noteworthy details: Only complaints I had were the first day all the communal areas were quite cold I had to sit eating lunch with my coat on. Also the changing room and area leading to the pool were not very clean. Since my last visit they have added an area with paper cups and a dispenser with cold water by the pool which is good to keep hydrated.

Rooms: Comfortable, large bed , jacuzzi bathrobes slippers safe iron
Walkability: Long walk from reception to some rooms
Food and drinks: Drinks are pricey, 12 and a half percent service charge.Restaurant busy queue to go in , it was Valentine?s Sunday/Monday
Noteworthy details: Spa/pool area can get very busy, not particularly relaxing as aqua aerobics class with loud music wouldn?t go for romantic time away

Stayed here 8th of February for a treat for my partner. Upgraded the room to a suite purely for the spa bath and robes, one robe was not white anymore and one of the eyelets was snapped, I looked pretty shabby.
Paid extra for dinner. The bath itself was lovely but no bubbles or bath soap supplied.
Went to the spa, and it was absolutely rammed with people. Way too many people for such a small spa, there was no place to sit, no beds, the sauna and the steam room was full constantly. For a relaxing day we ended up back in the room.
The evening meal portions are extremely small and we ended up getting extra food from the bar. We were extremely disappointed to have to wait in a queue for the small bar downstairs when adjacent to that room was a huge bar with shutters down. Breakfast was amazing. But after spending £317 for the room dinner and breakfast with a further £258 on drinks and extra food on the daytime and evening it was very disappointing. The next day we thought we would go for a walk around the grounds, rubbish and broken parts just chucked around a corner as if it?s out of sight out of mind. Such a beautiful place to be let down by small things. We don?t recommend and will not stay again.

Staff are helpful at reception and in hotel .
Breakfast was not upto the standards all food was very dry from heater. Had lunch in afternoon was alright nothing overwhelming.
Great place to stay apart from food .

Really really bad, don't waste your money! Most double rooms don't have a bath, they have a accesible (disabled use) shower. The hot water in the rooms is luke warm at best. Over crowded spa area. You'd have to get into the jacuzzi with 5 strangers otherwise you'd never get to use it. Cleaninless is not great either. We requested to get a normal room with a normal shower at least pr a bath and all they had was a room with vinyl in the bathroom. We also booked dinner with them and we were told at check in that all they had available was a 9pm table. Every bit of our stay was dissapointing. The room, the spa, the dinner. The duty manager was not helpful he said sorry but I can't do anything about your complaints. He offered us a refund and said we can go somewhere else.... poor!
Rooms: No baths!!

Arrived at hotel at 3pm and was checked out by 4pm.
Room very dated from the 80?s and not in a great state, curtains ripped, furniture stained and damaged, hairs on bed, bathroom smelling and very disappointing.
?Cocktail Bar? had no atmosphere and just felt like a bit of walk through to the rooms.
Went to the spa and it just got worse, towels all over the place, no seats or beds available and wanted to charge £7.50 each for a robe. No one checking numbers and between spa guests and hotel guest it was fully booked and not well managed at all.
Never asked to check back out of a hotel within an hour before but it was just so disappointing and such a poor overall experience for a ?luxury 4 star hotel?.

The hero retreat spa package was great value for money and a great experience.
I have had many treatments and this was definitely one of the best (85 minutes) - Thank you Chloe, you were very professional and the facial was amazing ?
A lovely relaxing day and we have booked again for April ?

Disappointed as there were silverfish infections in the bathroom.
