Worst hotel experience of all time. The room had multiple issues.
- Room smelled
- Shower and hand soap dispenser broken apart and did not work
- Shower head was damaged and wouldn?t stay in properly
- The top of the toilet would completely fall off (I asked why and they said it was by design)
- I was on ground floor and there was no netting so if I opened curtains everyone can see inside (I asked why there?s no netting and they said customer don?t want them)
I asked them on night one to change rooms and they said my reason wasn?t good enough for a room change. I asked again on night two and they said they were fully booked.
Absolutely poor room and appalling customer service. Stay away.

Budget hotel so it is what it is.
Always clean, quiet and the staff are great. It's handy for Seaton Carew and the Maritime museum.
The main reason we use it? They take dogs!

Checked in on our way to Scotland and had a really good room with all that was needed for an overnight stay including a decent coffee machine (Lavazza! yes) a comfortable and quiet nights sleep and departed for the rest of the journey refreshed and ready for the day.
We love Travelodge stays and the staff here were very helpful and attentive, especially when I managed to lock us out of our room!

Mel did all she was allowed to do without getting into trouble with management .but we should have been moved to a marina view room as we requested without being charged a fee as we had already paid for a plus room .come on travel lodge make all plus rooms marina view !!

Rooms clean,beds comfortable,plenty places nearby for food, places to visit.eg Royal Navy Museum ship within walking distance.

Clean and basic. Slight wait for check in but less than £30 for a great night. And a lovely view. Also loads of car parking

Great value for money Hotel,
Marina view over looking HMS Trimcomalee and Museum,
Spacious and comfortable bedroom,
Friendly lady on reception,
I stayed on the 5th of July 2025.

Room was very clean and tidy. Ours was on the third floor with a great view of HMS Trincomalee in the Naval museum. Full marks to Lilly (our cleaner) and to the staff on reception for their friendly welcome and farewell.
We will definitely stay here again.
