Lovely staff. Large warm rooms. Great atmosphere and band in the bar. Highly recommended. Would stay again anytime.

Sunday lunch carvery was excellent... waiting staff were attentive & courteous - unlike the bar staff. Highly recommended.Nearby activities: Situated directly opposite the beautiful North Sea with uninterrupted views dependent on yr position.Local park with play area literally around the corner - as well as the usual seafront attractions nearby.Walkability: Private hotel car-park, but on road (limited time) parking & 3 municipal car-parks both short (3/4mins) & long (6/10mins) walking distance. Obviously these can be busy dependent on the weather/season.Seaton Carew train stop is a mile away.Food & drinks: Restaurant staff were excellent, with food & drink prices average.Sunday lunch carvery was excellent - standard menu & 'specials' were also available.
