I recently dined at The King Johns Tavern in Hartlepool, and the transformation since it became a Tees Inns pub from a Wetherspoon is truly remarkable. The upgraded quality of food exceeded my expectations, offering a delightful culinary experience. The ambiance is warm, and the staff's attentiveness adds to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. The paces is nice to go for a drink with friends and family and you can take your dog in the beer garden when it nice summer whether in king John's pubKid-friendliness: I can take my grandkid and my adults daughters and boyfriend with my pet dog in the beer garden and to have food and drink. And have a good day out not stopping at home it's is the best place to go

Bit dissapoiting when we called in for a lunchtime meal. Discovered that it was no longer a Wetherspoons and the food didn't look up to scratch, so decided not to eat. Went back to Seaton Carew and bought some fish & chips from Elizebeths Way.
