Visited on 03/06/2025 and a very loud alarm went off for a good 5 minutes before customers had to ask staff if we needed to evacuate etc not one staff member had any idea what to do but then eventually directed us all outside problem with this was your shopping trolley wheels lock when trying to leave in an entrance so multiple people with babies, young children or anyone with a disability couldn't leave! There was a huge pile up and if it had been an actual emergency we probably would have all died! Tesco train your staff please and don't create a system where people who are unable to escape by themselves can escape!!!!

Came into the shop today to buy my mam a bottle of cocktail and some roses to celebrate her new job and was treated appallingly by staff. I came in with two friends, one which was with me and not buying anything and one who was buying something of her own. I have freshly turned 18 so I thought there would be no problem. Got to the self checkout the fire alarm went off so I left my stuff. Came back, eventually and was refused sale by one of the workers at the self checkout (older, ginger worker). After she had asked for my ID and my friends ID who was standing with me which we provided. Finally, asking for my other friends ID who could not provide any even though she had payed for her own purchase and was standing at the end of the self service away from me waiting for us to leave. The employee then told me if I was by myself she could serve me so I left them and came back in by myself about 5 minutes later as I was in a rush due to exams and work. Again being refused service even though she stated that if I was by myself I would be served, they were extremely rude and condescending. Turned a 10 minute trip into 45 minutes. If it was an older person and two younger people this would not have even been a problem! In my opinion, a discrimination due to my age, the stereotype is ridiculous! This only added extra stress onto my day during my exam period and wasted about 45 minutes of useful time which was unnecessary! Will not be going back.

My 90 yr old relative went shopong today and the check out operator didn't ask for her clubcard. I had to go back because offers had not come off customer service told me that they don't ask now. Surely they should be asking because then the offers don't apply. Or is this what tesco want...make themselves more money?? If I hadn't have gone back my relative said she wouldn't have and for her shop would have subsequently been overcharged by £9.50. Please can you get your check out staff to make sure they ask fir clubcards again.

Was gonna have to wait whilst 8am to get a trolley full of shopping through a check out.
Ended up serving myself great I like thqt but not on a basket self serve.
Sorry but not even a self serve bigger till was open. This is a shame as I like shopping here.

We have never been in this Tesco's before. Great selection of homeware. Really amusing spooky Halloween plates and table ware. A large refurbishment going on at the bottom of the store after the beers and wine. Really helpful staff at the tills to help me with the app. Thanks

The service attitude of the staff is very bad. The new settlement computer system did not give me an invoice. I took it to return the next day and they said it could not be returned. I am very disappointed with Tesco.

Each time you go in this store prices seem to go up every couple of weeks I understand the store has had a complete refurbishment But that's no excuse to make loyal customers pay the price
