Fortunate to get my car booked in for a service on the same day as this was needed to keep the OEM warranty. Its a hybrid and i explained on the phone. They do a hybrid service package. When collecting I asked why the price was a little lower than the the price on the wall. She politely explained that price is for hybrid cars. I also explained i brought in a hybrid car. Then I was told that i am covered and there was no obvious difference between the service I got and the hybrid service. So I left. I later found out there was (obviously), put in a complaint online, had a phone call with the service centre and it was a mistake. Its just one of those things, but I come away feeling that i should have explained to them what type of fuel/drive system it was before i dropped it off. Can you imagine it being your responsibility to tell a garage whether a car is petrol or diesel when you leave it? It wouldn't happen. Also over the phone I was also told that they could update my OEM online warranty portal "yeh, we do all that". That was not the case. They updated the service clock on the dash. Its only 200,000 miles to my next service (not 20K). Nah I wont be going there again, with our hybrid or my EV.

Worst garage going. Had 4 wheel alignment booked in at 1400 because I was messed around by the arnison centre branch. Dropped car off at hartlepool branch and was told it won?t be ready til 5pm. Appointment was booked in at 1400 and I was told it was going to be 1 hour. Complete joke of a business. Use Kwickfit or other garages do not use Halfords they are a joke!!

The man who deals with the bikes was very unmotivated and not very helpful. I gave 4 stars because the man at the till was very helpful with the bike sale and with another query.

Went to halfords to get my bulbs changed and the young lad had to take my front light out to get to them but snapped the screw what was holding them in when asked what you gunna do about that he said will just have to tierap it up what a joke don't go here

I went in today on my own with a toddler to get a bike helmet for him, I asked the man at the bike desk for help & he pointed to the tape measure & said ?measure his head and find one his size?. I went and tried that but struggled with a crazy toddler who wanted to run wild & trying to measure his head on my own, I then went back to the same man & said ?I?ve measured his head but I?ve struggled so don?t think I?ve done it right, could you help me please?? He said ?I?m busy now with this customer you?ll have to ask that woman on the main desk,? then said ?oh no you can?t she?s busy? so I went back again to the helmets trying my best to find the right size but the measurements just didn?t appear correct, I finally found one that I thought would be the right size & went to the main desk to ask the lady as the man at the bike part had finished with his customer but still hadn?t seen if I had managed, the lady looked at the helmet & said ?it says small, you probably need medium? & went back to the desk, by this point I was sweating, yes I should of brought his pushchair but I thought I would of had help to measure his head and find a suitable helmet, I went back to the helmets and seen a young girl coming from the back so once again I asked her if she could help, she said ?you?ll just have to measure his head?, I told her it didn?t matter & I wouldn?t bother, she then helped me the best she could & measured his head, found me a helmet and I bought it, it took her 5 mins. This sounds very petty and unnecessary but it was something so small that could of made a massive difference to me and my experience.

Found what I was looking for straight away and served promptly.
Although what I purchased came with a battery but did not work unfortunately. I'm in retail myself and know battery life, doesn't last forever if on a shelf for a while.

Staff have no idea needed oil for my car took reg only came up with Halfords oil but wanted better quality oil when I asked thy didn't know how to cross reference said I should try some where else all the good oils but didn't know how to sell them very disappointed

Good service instore but what let it down was could not get connection cables from suppliers after weeks and 2 visit to the store
