I have my repeat prescriptions electronically sent to this chemist and supposedly get a text message once it?s ready to collect this is very unreliable so you wait to the point of running out of medication because you think it?s not ready to collectThe medication dispensed is supposedly checked twice how is peppermint gaviscon the same as aniseed what if a customer was allergic to peppermint?Collected my prescription today again checked by two people only to find one item missing once I got homeStaff are in no hurry to help or serve and just look at the lengthening queue of fed up customersToday I waited 35 minutes to collect a prescription because the woman in front of me couldn?t decide what cream she wanted for her faceThankfully it?s my last time at this place

Standards boots store, a bit run down now. Pharmacy here is awful , constantly make mistakes , items missing, scripts missing. Long queues (which is down to the company not the staff). Standard procedure is you queue for 20 mins , told to come back in 30 mins, queue another 20 mins to see if they had what you were prescribed. Staff are lovely, just not enough of them.

Went to collect 5 prescriptions today from boots. I had a text to say that they were ready to be collected on 29/09/23 but decided to wait a bit longer to collect them as I no they are never ready to just collect. So, 7 days later I go to collect the prescriptions. What a suprise, 3 were ready but the other 2 weren't. I waited an hour and a half for 1 of them but had to go back again for the other 1. While i was waiting there was other people coming in handing over prescriptions then leaving with them while i was still sat waiting. I asked staff several times how long they would be to be told they were just being checked or they are just being bagged up. That should have been done a week ago. I shouldnt of had to wait an hour and a half and have to go back........ Ridiculous how long you wait for them to put some tablets in a bag. It doesn't take me that long or 2 trips to do my weekly shopping. Very very poor service.

Need to update website. Sunday opening today was 11:00 a.m not 10:30No staff on medicine advice counter despite queue of 4 people waiting to be served. I gave up in the end and left.

Better because it still had some staffed tills for the main shop.Please keep till staff!(Why should I scan my own shopping for no discount, not meet a human when I shop, and people loose jobs!)Pharmacy section is always friendly and helpful.(They can have some difficult customers but they are always polite to me despite whatever/ whoever they just dealt with)

We collect the families' prescriptions from here and they are never ready, causing us to make several trips for essential medication.There is always a long wait at the counter for prescriptions, and the staff don't seem to know what is going on.

this dispensing chemist really needs to get its act togetherthe Hartlepool branch based in the marina leaves a lot to be desiredI have prescriptions sent direct from my doctor to this chemist and once its ready to collect you receive a text message or at least you're meant toso usually you run out of medication and have to chase them up to find out if its ready or you can get a text message saying its ready only to find out when you arrive after paying bus fare and wasting your time that its not ready and come back tomorrowalways check you prescription at the counter before leaving as if they don't have your item in stock its swapped for something else without informing you or your permissionthis happened to me twice luckily I didn't have an allergy to the replacement.or you get told your prescriptions ready only to find when you collect it that some of its missing as they out of stock but you will get a text message once its back inso back to the total timewasting exercise of backwards and forwards hoping they have it sortedwhy does boots think this is acceptable?why does boots think asthmatics running out of inhalers due to their incompetence is acceptableyour service is poor to say the least if I could give you zero stars i would

Called into Boots on Marina Way to make a purchase . Took my item to the tills by the pharmacy . Initially 2 cashiers were serving . One of the cashiers left the till as she finished serving . The other was approached by another assistant , they whispered for awhile then both walked away from the till leaving me standing at the counter . None of them acknowledged my presence , none told me the tills were closed I was simply left standing there . I approached 2 of these assistants who were on the shop floor asking them if there was anyone serving . I was told no and that I?d need to stand in the pharmacy queue to purchase my item . I declined and left the shop . Absolutely disgraceful custom service . I won?t be returning to the store as I feel they do not value my custom .

UPDATE: 14.02.23: The pharmacy here is fantastic.UPDATE: 30.10.20: I visited the branch because it's right next door to Argos which I was collecting something from. I'd had an issue with my online order with Boots (an item was missing and two items given that I never ordered). The lady in store went out of her way to help. I also got some good deals on gifts in the 3 for 2 offer. Covid-19 precautions were solid. Great service!09.19: I lost track of the time and ran out of meds at a weekend. I had to get an emergency prescription from 111 as I cannot miss a dose. Boots were very helpful and accommodating and made sure I had plenty to last me until my doctor's surgery reopened and a prescription was ready the following Tuesday/Wednesday.

Plenty of selection on offer, good pharmacy section. Layout could be a bit better as with pharmacy area, a little congested at times.
