Went here today ordered the chicken parmo and my partner ordered the slow cooked beef and mash
I couldn't eat the parmo as it was pink on the inside the chef said it was deep fried and cooked properly it was just the veins, but in my experience it didn't taste right and definitely wasn't cooked or they had got bad product ordered in.
My partner said the beef wasn't fresh beef it was store bought in.
The girl at the bar offered to make me another one or something else, but I lost my appetite at this point and just left she also offered me a drink, but I told her I'm driving.
Not a good experience.

My husband booked us a table for mother days (today) arriving just before our 1 o clock reservation we were seated. Bearing in mind not many people were in and tables were already leaving...we waited 10.minute's for someone to come and take our order . And here is the bizarreness of it .... only took our starter choices and proceeded to walk away ... we shouted her back and asked her if she would also like to take our main course too........ for a restaurant that was not even busy no food seemed to be coming out.... Our starters were very basic .. nothing too much... potato skins, chicken wings and 2 x goujons .... it got to a point where there is only so many questions you can answer from. Their tv screens before becoming bored ..... an hour had passed , noone had been to our table to see if we were OK, if we needed anymore drinks or even explain, if there was a delay on food.... my husband went to find someone to see how long the food would be .. no-one in sight....... it appeared the table next to us were also in the same predicament and they had arrived before us ....... after 5 or so minute's we decided to leave over an hour on the premises and nothing to show for it . We won't be back

Excellent breakfast at lunch time lol. Bacon a little hard but otherwise an excellent meal and coffee for £6.50. Friendly staff and nice and quiet which I prefer. A+++

Great place to enjoy a pint or grab some food. I live really close by, so it is a convenient spot to come to.
Staff are always friendly, too.

£31 for something we could have made at home for half the price :( fajita chicken was very under seasoned as were the chips, dips were cheap stuff from a bottle (garlic mayo and sweet chilli) and there was missing items, also there was no toilet roll in 3 of the stalls. Good portions but average food, however the server was lovely and the pints and cocktails were nice, overall I'd say it's good for drinks but a bit overpriced for what you get

Came in for the first time and was greeted with a friendly member of staff, we then ordered the parmo and the fajita parmo and all I can say is wow! We loved every bit even the salad ( which I normally wouldn't touch the salad) it was very well presented and tasted even better , I could only eat half but I was given a box so I can enjoy it all over again tomorrow. We have eaten at alot of other place's and had parmo but this was by far the best yet?

Went in Wednesday night for drinks & Thursday morning for breakfast special £6.50 in the week for a full breakfast hot & freshly cooked tea /coffee included.Excellent breakfast , very friendly staff , clean toilets ,Thanks we will call again :-)Parking: We parked with motorhome no problem, pay by App no cash machine anymore£8 for 24 hours

Nice place, great food and lovely staff who were very helpful and accommodating. Would certainly recommend whether it's for an afternoon or evening meal or a place to sample some cocktails - their cocktail menu was quite extensive. There is plenty of parking spaces nearby although we did have to pay for the parking... It was roughly £4 for four hours.

Nice breakfast. We visited again on an early evening , it was very quiet but there drinks and service was nice. This should be a thriving area of Hartlepool, but the council has decided to make it expensive to park there.

I Have been in to Black Olive a few times for Sunday Dinner since they started doing them, and I have to say they are the best I have had for a long time and I will defiantly be back again soon! If you haven't tried them yourself yet, I would highly recommend you do.
