If I could leave 0 stars I would, staff too busy buying milk and eating doughnuts waited nearly an hour for my pregnant wife?s prescription. Poor service

Staff have always been kind, but the waiting time is ridiculous. After asking for my repeat prescription I now have to wait 1 week, then pop in on the morning and ask for my prescription, and it's ready a few hours later. Pharmacists must count out pills 16 times I think.

Shocking customer service, like a few have said already have to wait a long time, some of the staff need to go on a course on customer service, the attitude and unprofessionalism shown is dissapointing. I phoned up to order my batch prescription (they now require 72 hours notice) I gave them 7 days and they hadnt done my order! even worse they couldnt do it for me until the next day absolutely disgrace and the pharmacist was in the back within earshot and never came to sort it out........needless to say ive changed pharmacy

Popped in this pharmacy 20 2 2025 seen the pharmacist within minutes She went through my details with me Having trying day after day to c a doctor to no avail I had a nasty throat infection was prescribed antibiotics Well Done Asda xx

Wouldn?t see me because I?m a man . I perhaps have a uti infection but I?ve had many scans for issues . I went to this pharmacy and they asked is it for a woman , I said no they said ring your doctor or emergency services , only and women can get pharmacy advice ? my story sounds BS but totally true . The ?pharmacist? couldn?t even be bothered to speak to me themselves .

Consistently Inconsistent!!
I have used the Pharmacy in the Hartlepool ASDA store for years and I'm very disappointed to say the service is going to the dogs!!
Over the past couple of years the pharmacy has steadily declined from what was a friendly efficient service to an Inconsistent shambles.
Whilst I appreciate it is a busy service much in demand it now appears to be clinging on by its fingernails and as a result the service it now offers is consistently Inconsistent and steadily getting worse.
It can be hit and miss on a daily basis and as I have noted myself is prone to making mistakes. The staff can be surley, abrupt and on occassion quite rude yet other days nice, chatty and polite.
Now I know we're all human and we all have bad days but it appears to be the norm at this particular pharmacy.
From a customer standpoint, consider the trials and tribulations of dealing with your GP practice and the stress and frustrations this invariably presents simply trying to secure an appointment and get past the receptionists.! Now add a pharmacy that is like Jekyll and Hyde with regards to the standards of service they provide, all you simply want to do is claim a prescription and leave yet what you are presented with is surely staff, delays, excuses and disinterest?! It makes you wonder why some (not all) of the staff choose to do a job that is customer facing.
We all face stress and pressures in life, the difference here for the customer is that we have no choice but to come to you. You post signs saying staff will not tolerate abusive or rude behaviour well here's a tip....... neither will the customer!! All we want is whatever remedy we have been given reason to collect from you and be on our way in a reasonable time frame.
ASDA..... if they need more staff..... provide them....... if they need more space...... provide it because what you have now just isn't what it used to be which truly is a shame.
On the basis of the last 12 months of challenges dealing with ASDA Pharmacy save yourself the agro people and walk over to Boots Pharmacy next door, which thus far have offered a far better and more relaxed customer experience.

Asda pharmacies are going down the pan nowadays.Have had experience of a few and this one is certainly suffering. Staff are incompetent,unprofessional and rude with long wait times and are always making errors. My friend also used to use this place and had the same treatment. We go to an independent now who are much much better. The sooner they shut for good the better.
