The staff in this store are so incredibly rude... I've never known a store like it with so many rude, unhelpful and ignorant staff. You ask them something and you'd think you've just ruined their life with the attitude you get and it's not just one or two it's many of them. Is it in the job description that you must be as rude as possible? I actually hate having to use this store at times simply due to the staff and lack of manned checkouts. Asda seriously need to do some staff training around customer service as it's a really unpleasant experience shopping in this store!

I only wanted a few items, so I went to pay another basket only section. The queue was absolutely huge, there were red lights all over at the pay points, and only one member of staff to resolve their issues. I hate shopping at Asda for this reason, there are always queues everywhere. Very poor customer service.

Dreadful customer service ...till operators too slow to catch cold n more bothered about chatting to their friends than actually putting items through. I've grown a beard the time I've waited here

Went to self checkout , due to my poor mismanagement I I grabbed a aplastic bag u get from snb. The Asda bag had 1 item left in apparently (some dog tins) which I did t see before pouring the ?? Asdaa bags lthe items out of the other bag in if then going to pay. Paid for my items and left. I was then accosted if I was going to she why would ah that fine ammmby an incredibly rude cow that said had stolen ?loads? of things. Unsure she was fessed in blank had a Karen like type hairstyle .When security were handed my bag which I was happy to give them they found the only issue was £6 worth of dog food I forgot to scan. Which they can easily see on video I poured the full plastic carrier into my own and that?s how I forgot to common sense is lacking. Security weren?t bad in themselves but that woman however she was needs sorting out. She was rummaging through my things desperate to find ??all?? the items I hadn?t paid fair for. Even saying you definitely did not pay for this butter just to look on the machine and see I had. Quite entertaining at this point. Let me also include she said I was caught many month ago shoplifting when I?ve only live in the area a month! Should also add i hadn?t even walked through the security barriers so not even left the shop I accordingly shlifted at. Oh yeah managed are rule and shocking I hope you both sacked . Surprising that the only people that were and were cal and respectable was the two blocks and security . I attend a mommmy and me group once a week and they encouraged me to post this due most of the mums in the group have opted to Tesco as the generals feeling is mot of them had really bad experiences and nothing was done.!!!!!

Such a horrible supermarket.
I wanted to use Click & Collect but had to ?break through? the new security barriers just to get past. The staff are incredibly rude, everywhere is dirty, and there are metal barriers dictating where you can and cannot walk.
Having to look at yourself on self checkout also isn?t great - you?re made to feel as though you?re a criminal! Won?t be returning.

After introduction of the self scan system and reducing the number of attended checkouts to less than a handful, the handsets are almost always unavailable now. One screen has been out of order for months now and the other has no remaining devices charged.

The female worker on the customer desk was rude when I mentioned that I was incorrectly charged as the shelves were labeled wrong. She did offer to refund me but never apologised for the inconvenience and never checked the labels on the shelf. How many customers have been over charged and not realised because the staff can?t label the shelves correctly? Do Asda staff know about trading standard rules.

On 2 occasions recently of my husband or myself entering the store, we have heard security staff at the entrance using very bad language in earshot of customers, including children and elderly people. Really not the best first impression.
