Nice hotel, good sized room. Kettle was a bit iffy but got it working eventually.

We stayed for one night on Monday 18th March 2024, no issues with parking and we were able to place ourselves right outside the Annex building where we were staying (I suspect that if you stay for a weekend visit the parking may be a bit sparse). Our Room was presentable and very well looked after and for us personally this Travelodge was far better than any others we have stayed in over the years which normally have been derelict, dirty and shoddy. I was honestly taken aback by how pristine this one was! The housekeeping team for sure do their jobs efficiently!Lady on the reception I think was called "Jenny" she was on the desk the afternoon before our stay from 16:00 onwards and she was a breath of fresh air, very polite and incredibly welcoming which again is something we haven't experienced in other Travelodge hotels, she informed us where to go and any information that was necessary to our needs and made the visit very pleasant. Our experience here was incredibly brilliant, so much so that we are already debating a weekend stay in the future as the location was perfect for our needs!Your team are a massive credit to your establishment thank you again for making our over night stay a pleasant one. :)Rooms: Double bed, Samsung Tv with Freeview, kettle with tea and coffees ( there is milk and the like on entry to the Annexe should you require more) Fan, Hairdryer, extra pillows if you need and towels provided, laminated sheet with information to shops etc. Key card given on arrival and advised to keep it away from our phones as they can wipe the card.Nearby activities: It took us about 10-20 mins to walk from the Travelodge to the centre and it was very pleasant by the river and under the bridges, plenty of bars and food aswell as some shops too.Safety: Lock on door when retiring for the night and Do not disturb sign provided. Key card gives you access to the Annexe and your room which is self explanatory.Walkability: As mentioned it is a short walk to all that you need and takes roughly 10-20 minsFood & drinks: There is an Italian style restaurant right next door to the hotel however we did not eat or drink there so cannot say what it was like.Noteworthy details: The staff are very lovely and make sure you have everything you need, nothing is too much trouble.

Very Reasonable in price & located near City Centre.Staff were very friendly. Room & Bathroom were clean & in a separate building which was quiet. Bed was extremely comfy. They have a breakfast box but there are lots of nice places in city centre to have breakfast, i would definitely recommend the Cosy Club.

Rooms ok. Very strange layoutNever had to park, check in then drive to annex for my room beforeAnnex has no lift so being on 1st floor involves carrying everything by hand up stairs.Location is further out of town than it seems on map, very isolated an not even a corner shop near by.

It took a while for the receptionist to come. We could hear them talking and as we were calling for someone, they could hear us. Key card didn't work and no apology for it.Nearby activities: 10 mins walk into the town centre and plenty of buses back up the hill.

2 different buildings to stay in, second has no reception, it is scary to walk between those in the dark. Walking between buildings weed smell was all around. Breakfast only on the go, no space to sit down. I had 3 different receptionist, 1 was rude and other 2 were kind and polite.
