Having children and me being disabled I alway recommend and base my opinion on the toilet as they are the most important to my family and I. Sainsbury have a family changing facilities which are nice and clean and big, however good luck trying to use them, we have stood outside the door waiting for a long time only to see staff members open the door and walkout we asked them how come you are using the family changing room only to be greated with abuse. I know it's not up to us who uses the toilets, but if the lady's toilet is not up to the stand for the staff to use, maybe the staff needs to sort it.

Sainsbury's Arnison Centre is a really convenient place to shop just north of Durham City Centre. It has a large car park which is free, and though can be a bit tricky to navigate for pedestrians (I'm a bit biased as my mum got injured as a pedestrian there!), is quite easy to use. It also has free albeit quite limited electric parking.Inside the staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is bright, clean, accessible, and again, it's easy to navigate. It's much quicker to use the scanner or the self service tills though many people still queue.Sainsbury seems to be pushing the product discount if you have a nectar card which I'd prefer not to engage with but you really have to if you don't want to pay a fortune for things - in fact it can seem like the discounted price is actually the 'normal' price these days, but I can't confirm that. There's also an Argos, currency exchange and restaurant upstairs, as well as many other shops nearby - so you really can have a day out there if you want!! If you want somewhere to get your weekly shopping, or just something for lunch, this is a quick and easy place to visit if you are in the local area.

First off, a huge plus that I didn't need a £1 coin to use a trolley. Who carries cash since covid?Well stocked, well laid out and wheelchair friendly to boot.

It's a Sainsbury's supermarket! Everyone knows what this is...why are you even looking at reviews about it.
