“I have known OneGym since it first opened in 2023, visited once then, excellent Gym in every way. I just joined two days ago and no complaints. Love that dark ambience not too many lights unlike Gym Group, PureGym and JD Gym where they are too bright! Absolute wide choice of Gym equipments, weights and boxing bags. Some equipments never seen in other really good massive gyms worldwide even in Dubai or Singapore. For that reason I will take a complimentary induction next week to get familiar. Staff are efficient. Spotlessly clean everywhere including men changing room. Will try sauna first time after workout tomorrow. Well done One Gym Ryhope, full five stars”

“Equipment and layout are great for the price, but I wish they would do something about the lighting as for daytime workouts it’s way too dark — just makes me feel tired and sleepy whenever I visit. I get it’s supposed to be a club vibe, but there are parts where the lighting is genuinely horrible on your eyes — just bare white light spotlights shining down which don’t light up the area properly and are not nice to have in your eyes if you’re doing anything that involves lying down. Maybe keep that for around mirrors for selfies but for a general workout area it’s not great.”

“This gym is excellent – it has a wide variety of modern equipment to suit all fitness levels, from cardio machines to free weights and resistance machines. Everything is well-maintained and in great condition. The space is always clean, tidy, and hygienic, which makes working out much more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their fitness goals!”

“Great gym n plenty to do but like someone said between 3 n 5 can't move for kids hanging around the machines...its alright saying come different times but people can't...but apart from this amazing gym n well worth the money”

“A big thank you to Manager Ashley and one of the other amazing gym staff members. After finishing my last set of squats, I suddenly couldn’t catch my breath. I went into the changing rooms feeling overheated and dizzy, and things quickly got worse—I nearly blacked out. Thankfully, a fellow member got help right away.

Ashley acted quickly, helping me sit on the floor with my knees to my chest and giving me a Lucozade and a protein flapjack to get some sugar into my system. It turns out my blood sugar had dropped. I was lucky not to fully pass out.

Huge thanks to the team for their quick thinking and support—it made all the difference without it i was sure to pass out.

“Unreal gym. They have every machine and more. Always working and I constantly see staff cleaning them and cleaning the floors.
Staff are also super helpful. Occasionally the sauna doesn’t work but that happens in every gym. And for the price is absolutely insane. ??”
