“Always a pleasant experience personally most of the time I fill up by card which is pretty straightforward, Click pay by card, Scan my clubcard, Insert my card enter my pin 1..2..3 and 4 and wait for the lift nozzle sign before lifting the nozzle...and then panic because the fuel cap is closed and locked on my car”

“I am wheelchair dependent and occasionally drive alone. Usually my family make sure I have plenty of fuel but today I found I needed to deal with this myself. Lanchester garage did not appear on the FuelServe app, which is used by disabled people to enable them to find appropriate fuelling stations and receive help. I was expecting to have to drive to Consett but couldn’t get an answer from them through the app so I pulled into Jet in Lanchester. The assistance I was given was quick and could not have been better to enable me to get fuel. Thank you so much.”

“Id bought one of them car thingys recently and everything was going splendidly, however it seemed to stop working after about a week. I bought and (with the help of you tube) fitted a new engine, battery and gear box, but still nothing... then I was asked by a curious passing child it it 'qas petrol or diesel' bemused and somewhat confused I answered 'both, now hop it u little scamp', but this got me thinking. With the aid of google and after a two hour discussion with my deceased mechanic grandfather, I concluded I needed to find a petrol station. It just so happens theres a couple of these depots in England, so I pushed my newly furbished car up to Sainsbury petrol station at the nearby arnison center. after tasting it and accidentally spraying the stuff over my rear window and sticking it the bonnet for a while to no avail, a passing mcdonalds employee showed me the fuel hole thingy. Some 45 -60 seconds later it started spilling all over so I presumed it was full. I got in, started my car and drove happily away!!! I have to say it was a pleasure to do business at this fine establishment. The whole place was clean and tidy and had a lovely varnishy aroma to it... ill def go again I recon... when my car breaks again... And I got a lovely call from the police asking if id been there, I said I had and they asked if id give em £60. Its was the least I could do really for such an enlightening learning opportunity... ”

“Stopped there last Saturday night. The lady on night shift was polite and rather witty. There was a problem with the card reader and she could not have been more helpful. Makes a nice change these days; 10 out of 10 ?”

“Didn't need fuel. Needed to pump my tyres up. Found the air and water to the right side of the building with its own parking place. It cost a £1 coin for 6 minutes, and beeps when you reach your desired pressure. Always take the caps off the valve before you put your coin in.”
