Thanks to Lottie, Skye and Oliver for making us welcome tonight, we?ve been coming here for years for a few drinks and have always found the staff very friendly and would do anything to make sure you had a pleasant evening. We will keep coming back for sure, thanks again Team Tawny Owl.

Just had Christmas Lunch and it was amazing, food was great and all the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. We will be back next Christmas and hopefully more regularly throughout the year.

Called here sat afternoon for a coffee & quick bite to eat, as we have done on many occasions. We were told by the gentleman behind the bar that they were busy & we would have to wait 1/2 an hour. We didn?t mind that, but then we were informed that there?s no where for us to sit, despite there was only 2 of us & our observations of many vacant areas to sit.
We felt very unwelcome even for a drink. We went straight up the road to The Old Farmhouse where we were welcomed & treated as a valued customer.

Lovely, dog friendly pub which we visit whenever we're in Darlington. Good menu and wide range of food choices, good drinks range and great service. Spacious and light and just a nice relaxing experience

A very pleasant morning at the Tawny Owl. Lots of food, teas and coffees. The atmosphere was very friendly and it hoped the lots of money was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Parking: There?s plenty spaces, there?s also the over flow car park
