'Had another great time at Seymours Home. If you haven't yet paid them a visit do check them out. A carefully curated collection of pieces from world class designers await round every corner. It didn't take us long to fall for a 'must have' blue glass bowl which is more like a piece of art than a vessel. Jess was an absolute diamond - very pleasant, informative and helpful during our visit, a true asset to the store.We'll be back again soon.

Pillows that were ordered were well below the quality expected for the price. Found much better examples at the local white store. Shall have to remove the stuffing from the Seymour's House ones and try and refill our old pillows as they aren't even suitable for occasional guest use.The delivery however was exceptionally quick for what it's worth.

Ordered wallpaper and explained that I was over ordering to ensure I had enough. The wallpaper was expensive per roll and I ordered six in December. Unfortunately, we went into lockdown and the decorator contracted COVID so couldn't get the wallpaper done. We used 5 out of the 6 rolls and tried to return the 6th. Firstly, the company tried to say that Farrow and Ball don't do returns but I had already clarified that they do and then secondly because I had placed the order in Dec, I was over the 14 days allowed to return. Although I appreciate the rules, given the current situation with COVID most companies are being lenient and trying to be as helpful and accommodating as possible. NOT THIS ONE! so be warned if you order paper make sure you return in 14 days and if you have a professional decorator coming make sure they don't get COVID otherwise you can't return!!! This paper was £100 a roll so would have appreciated some decent customer service. I will place my orders elsewhere in future.

Purchased bedding, waited over 2 months for delivery and the wrong sized product was sent. Expects me to pay the postage to get a refund. Do not use this company! See professional response from owner below and how they respond to other low ratings provided by other consumers. Sent duvet set and fitted sheet that don?t match each other and blaming me!

Recently ordered new duvet, pillows, fitted sheets, duvet covers, and pillow cases. Prices are very good and competitive, spoke to Jessica got great advice on colour matching with the Egyptian cotton sheets and the duvet cover very good customer service skills and speedy and friendly responses. Went with the colour she suggested and I just couldn't be any happier with the decision looks really nice and smart together she has a very good eye for style. Quality is amazing and makes for an amazing sleep so thank you Jessica for the help and selection would definitely reccomend this company to anyone for high quality products at competitive prices with speedy delivery and amazing staff with great customer service.. Will be a returning customer for sure many thanks.

I purchased an arm chair from Seymour's Home and the product was not of my liking. As per their online stated returns policy the day after my delivery, I asked to return it. What I was told is that I will be charged £40 for the return. The arm chair is small and fairly light and no where on their website does it say that I would be charged such an exorbitant for a return. I would have never purchased the chair had i known.What's more when I called in, the manager refused to come on the phone and left me to speak to someone who had just started with the company (1st day!) which is really poor too.Terrible service and terrible professionalism and there are MANY MANY more better boutique shops to spend your money on!

It's an interesting shop......the prices range from bargain reductions to the sublimely ridiculou? There are products with designer names and some unknowns (at least not known to me?) and there is a variety of "home making" products from bath mats to candles to dining room tables! The one thing it does have is fabulous colours and designs whatever your expenditure limits. Go in, browse, you never know....I've succumbed to several bargains you won't get anywhere else (I don't think; or haven't found yet) between York and Newcastle! Other reviews have looked at the service and found the staff wanting. Personally I've been slightly amused on occasion but never disgruntled and ordering online can be a nightmare full stop - Oh, and at least the manager responds to the online reviews when they are negative with a full explanation, a rarity in itself?

Arrived late and then only because I called them to find out where my dressing gown had got to.When it arrived the quality was more like a Friday street market stall than a Hugo Boss item.I have an M&S dressing gown that I was going to replace with this one but it is no where near as good a quality , I won?t be returning to buy anything else. ????????

Oredered Shiraz bedspread and accessories ,, this is a beautiful high quality bedspread , and looks just as it does in pictures , actually looks even better than the pics . I ordered item to overseas. First item was not what was ordered. Though they recovered situation and shipped correct item. I have to say their customer service people always replied and provided great assistance. In this kind of situations customer service is truly measured. So so many other places should go to learn from Seymour's home how excellent customer service is done. Thank you

The customer service I received today was absolutely outstanding. We had ordered some farrow and ball paint during the current Covid situation and when ringing them to discuss a delivery time discovered the colour ordered would be between 7 and 14 days. I asked if it would be possible to change my order for a colour that was held in stock and the lady on the call couldn?t have been more helpful. She told me which colours were available for immediate delivery and we agreed on a different shade. I received a text in the afternoon from the courier company confirming delivery for the next day. Not only had Seymours Home bent over backwards for me but had also upgraded my delivery to next day. I was blown away with the customer service and couldn?t recommend them highly enough. Fantastic.
