Hi i would like to mention that the cleaning in our room was exceptional. I have been in the cleaning business - both industrial and domestic, and the lady (Kimberley) very much deserves credit. Her cleaning would be praised in West End London Hotels. Excellent work. Please look after this one :)

Surprised to be hit with car park charges

No staff at reception while I stood for 5 minutes pressing the buzzer, room is dark and dingey and very dated. Charge £7 a night for car parking which is very unusual for an out of town premier inn. Stay in premier inns very regularly and this has been the worse for a while.

We had a lovely meal here this evening, we both had ribeye steak done to perfection and served by Leanne a credit to Beefeater nothing was too much trouble and she was rushed of her feet

Never had a good service in the place. Rooms are dated and massively in need of a refurb.
Bar service is a joke at times. So slow. Restaurant always seem understaffed.

This was a perfect overnight stopping place for me with reasonable prices... UNTIL today.
I had to rearrange a room which was done professionally and without problems by the manager :)
However I noted on the website now as of 19th July 2024 they have fitted car parking cameras and it's now going to be an extra £7 to park overnight!
For an out of town location as this is, that is ridiculous and just money grabbing, shame on you Premier inn!
I stay at least 8-10 times a year here and that added up is the cost of a night at the hotel!
Sorry to say this will be my last upcoming stay here and I will use the Travelodge just 1/2 mile down the road from here which has free parking still.
I SUGGEST YOU RETHINK CHARGING FOR PARKING AT THIS LOCATION AS PEOPLE SUCH AS MYSELF WILL BE GOING ELSEWHERE
