Overpriced, kids clothes very expensive
April 2025 by Carolina Ciobanu
Today I found a lot of children clothes with £1 or £2 that was not too bad. About the adults clothes were too expensive considering the profit is 100%. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Thank you

Can't believe the prices in here. £3 a tie. Kids toys with parts missing £2. A toaster £17. Well over priced. This is Darlington

Plenty of good books, lots of high quality appliances that have been refurbished but the appliances are more expensive. Tonnes of great clothes and children's stuff.

Went upstairs to browse the books, they have plenty of seating upstairs to sit and read or browse. Staff were vey helpful and helped me find the book that I was looking for. Lovely clean and well organised store.

my favourite shop in the town centre <3 the worker/volunteer/staff member who served me was so so pleasant and that makes me want to go back there more often. I bought a really pretty skirt here, and a book of poems today. Please visit here if you can, the staff is lovely and kind <3

I was browsing the books upstairs when I accidently strayed into a selection of books I didn't realise was normally partitioned off to the general public by a simple curtain. Suddenly, I heard a voice; a member of staff declared that I shouldn't have been there. I apologised, said sorry many times and explained the curtain had been left open and didn't realise it was out of bounds to the public. She didn't seem to accept my apology and seemed to think I was up to no good. Shame as it's a nice little shop, but I won't be back after this incident.
