I never typically write reviews but felt compelled to given the appalling attitude of the pharmacist serving in this shop.
I asked if a common over the counter medication was available and immediately was met with this pharmacist's inflated ego and obvious need to establish his self importance....which of course in reality, there is none, he works in a shop serving customers. He proudly told me that he may have the medication, but it was up to him if he wanted to sell it!! Something that was never implied or asked by me, I simply asked if they had it in stock. Obviously this small bald man has a huge chip on his shoulder, either that or just trying to big himself up in front of his female staff members.
I'm not going to suggest people avoid going here, it's worth it just for the comedy value! Just remember though, it's up to him if he wants to serve you!!! ?

Let me begin by saying that I am a believer i t he saying, ?if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.? Normally, I stick by this and don?t write bad reviews. However, our treatment by the pharmacist at this establishment made it impossible for me not to air my views.
I would also like to take the opportunity though to say that the staff in general, were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful- which makes it even more sad that I?m writing this. When simply trying to get my daughters ADHD medication, the small, bald pharmacist made it as difficult as he possibly could to dispense. Promised that it would arrive in 24 hours to be picked up, we had heard nothing from them so I called asking if it was ready. He informed me that as the prescription was from Scotland, he was unsure if he could dispense. I reiterated the fact that the day before, the other pharmacist hadn?t had an issue, but he said he hadn?t done one before and needed to check the law. Fair enough, I guess. (I had, incidentally, received the same meds from the same script previous the this). He then proceeded to cut me off the telephone mid sentence and when he called me back he was clearly perturbed that the checks all said he was fine to dispense. So, we set off across town to pick up where we were greeted by the rude, insincere fellow insisting on ID. (It was a CD so I get this), but why he didn?t mention it on the call is beyond me. Clearly, this guy has a huge chip on his little shoulder and really shouldn?t be dealing with the public. He made the whole task of picking up a prescription totally stressful and miserable and there really was no need. What goes around comes around as they say?

I have used this pharmacy for a long time and excellent service every single time. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

OMG be very careful when you use this pharmacy. Previous reviews are correct the staff (one staff member) and pharmacist are abhorrent. I think it depends who is on shift as to the actual staff as most of the ladies are lovely. I?ve had trouble with the person before and when I asked to speak to the pharmacist he sounded as interested as a kid in school. He lied and said he hadn?t heard the conversation but then dropped himself in it by saying he had heard bits and pieces.

The staff here are so friendly and I swapped from going to my previous pharmacy as I mostly felt I was an inconvenience there!

This pharmacy always has my meds ready quickly sometimes on the same day as receiving the prescription. Staff are always friendly. Highly recommend.

I collected a prescription here the other day. I usually use another but struggled to get needles so I asked if they had them. They said they did and I was able to pick them up straight away having waiting over 6 weeks for them.Lovely and friendly staff and brilliant service

The attitude of the pharmacist at this chemist is absolutely disgusting. Very rude, abrupt, and unhelpful. I would write more but I'm too shocked/angry at the disgusting attitude and customer service recieved just now from said pharmacist. Even my 4 year old daughter said 'that man wasnt very kind was he' when we came out. Will be finding out his name to complain officially. Not even worthy of 1 star.

Have to agree with other in that the customer service is the worst of any chemist we visit. Only ever visit if our own lovely friendly chemist (in Sainsburys) either don't have it or if we need something while we happen to be shopping next door.Please be nicer! We are ill!
