I took my 2 two daughters to the instore cafe..
The service was excellent the lady at the cash till and the gentleman who served our food were both very polite and professional.. the food however was truly terrible... I had the big breakfast, first it came out cold, and I mean properly cold.. the replacement had obviously been microwaved, eggs over cooked, bacon hard and tasteless.. mushrooms were like mush..
Also ordered the children's pasta, which looked like it had been sitting around for hours, dried up on the top and all the sauce at the bottom of the dish.

Excellent service here, a member of staff went way beyond helpful to find me an item I was.looking for. She checked out the back and then three other places before finally finding it for me. Really great service!

Went for a cooked chicken about 6 o'clock for tea and the counter was clean not a thing left. This happens quite a lot bit shocking when your store is open til 10 not impressed at all

This advice is for out-of-town visitors. There are two Morrisons in Darlington: this one in Morton Park and the other is on North Road, with two different shopping experiences. This location is the better of the two. Shopping carts do not need a £1 coin to use; the selection is better in terms of the deli, fish, and meats. Buying liquors is a pain because it?s behind a lock and access is by pressing a call button and waiting forever for an assistant to unlock. The signage for products is completely different to North Road as they are actually hung in the right place except for Xmas when they feel arranged for a scavenger hunt. Now the checkouts, which are understaffed, and the self-service automated teller machines, technically from the 1990s, never got through without it calling for assistance. Often very busy and crowded.

Nice store good cafe and the young girl on beers wines and spirits was very helpful as they have locked cabinet systems on all spirits and a staff member gets called to open doors.

Really good morrisons with plenty of stock, choices and nutmeg clothing one of the best ranges around.
Staff are friendly, store kept clean and tidy.
Definitely recommend this particular branch.
