I tried Maggie's for the first time yesterday and was very impressed. I didn't book a table but the staff were really accomodating and made sure there was room for us and moved the table to make space for our pram. There was a really friendly atmosphere between the customers, the cafe was very busy but staff managed to seat everyone even without bookings. There is loads of choice on the menu, I went for the B.E.C and an iced coffee. The food and coffee were both really good and I can't wait to visit again to try something else on the menu.

I visited today, and I was met with a smile. I sat outside. In the glorious sunshine. The seating area was clean and tidy. Along with the toilet ! Seldom seen these days. It's always a good sign. I had a latté and avocado on toasted sourdough with two poached eggs. It was ten out of ten avocado was ripe and eggs perfectly runny . Couldn't fault my visit at all and will be back.??????????

BEST CAFE IN DARLINGTON.Staff are the best!Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten Free options and they take care. Never had an issue with cross contamination.

Seen a few reviews about poor staff attitude? Personally my friend and I had a complete opposite experience. Both members of staff who served us were sweet, friendly, patient and ACCOMODATING! They even gave us insight into what is and isn't included in certain discounts, which is admirable for a small business. We both got loaded fries, one cheese one chilli and they were lush! We love eating half of the chips and then rolling the tortilla bowl up into a chunky burrito. 5/5 such a throwback to our college days and still a great treat for a reasonable price.

Enjoyed a delicious and relaxing brunch here with my son. Despite not having booked a table (busy Saturday morning!), the staff accommodated us, were attentive, helpful, and accommodating to some menu requests. The coffee was good, and the food was delicious, well presented and just what was needed to start the day. We will be back!

Old people not allowed.I tried to take my elderly mum out here for a belated Mother?s Day lunch yesterday. Her mobility is limited so parked at the back and went in to scout out whether we could get in with her walking aid. Luckily as I came in the people nearest the door were leaving. I commented to the waitress that that was lucky as I could bring my mum in. No you can?t sit there and, directed by the owner pointed me to the most inaccessible table which actually had a reserved notice on it. Luckily for the people who were dining and for the discriminatory people who work there I walked away as I was immediately angry
