Visited this shop today expecting to be able to buy some high end makeup but I walked into a bizarre jumble sale with bikes and random sofas at the front of the store? All the makeup shelves were empty and the staff looked sick of their lives. Which I?m not surprised at. Way to go Mike Ashley.

Accused my cousin and her girlfriend of stealing test samples of concealer and when shown proof that they hadn't they still pushed and got police on them. The police also were delivered proof and the staff didn't believe them. Cctv, searching and all.

I order some online items to be delivered to House of Fraser in Darlington. I have not received the items and they seem to be lost between Evri (their delivery partner) and I get not response from them. Do not waste your money on online shopping ! Avoid at any cost !

Sadly a truly bad experience. Waited ages and ignored, then a person came who didn't even gave a vague idea of her supposed job at the Perfumes -make up. Very sad.

There?ll no doubt be a little outcry when this store inevitably closes down, but honestly, it deserves to go. For every lovely staff member, there?s another one who seemingly hates customers, which is a sign of low standards and weak management. I?m tired of guessing what kind of service I?ll receive on any given day, so will stick to buying directly from brands instead.

Just visited the beauty section at House of Fraser in Darlington and was given an impromptu makeover by the very talented Helen there. I have just recovered from chemotherapy with my hair just starting to grow back, so my confidence was pretty low. Not only was my makeup done beautifully but the kindness and consideration shown by both Helen and her colleague Jean were second to none. I left feeling more my old self than I had done for ages. I really appreciate the help given to me choosing the right products and thoroughly recommend them. Thank you so much.
